That's a really open question. As far as religion goes, I'm going to teach her a little bit about some different religions. I'll also answer questions as to what I think and why.

Believing a God exists who has not interfered / will not interfere with the physical universe since its creation is indistinguishable from atheism anyway.

I know of no religions with God concepts that involve a God who created the universe and then left it alone entirely. For myself, I readily admit such a God is entirely possible and I can't rule it...
