Re: Hand...

I think 75+% you'll see a bet or a C/R from a FD here - which is still a biggish number but not quite as high as I guess you think.

And I agree partially on the chances we're good -- I think...

99.9% of the aggressive stealers I've played against would either bet or checkraise this turn with a flush draw.

Yes, many would. But your hyperbole is too much. ...

It took me a long time to analyze this, but now that I've thought this through I think you are almost always screwed and reraising is out of the question.

Re: Stars bigger than Party, gotta Love it! :)

Stars has a ton of play money and micro limit players (and lots of low $ tourney players). As Obsidian points out, game liquidity at mid level ring games is much better at Party.

But I'd...

Re: What is PokerRoom 10/20 5-max like?

The games are OK. Very LAGgy, with lots of 55/25 sorts of guys and much fewer 40/8 guys. 5-Max seems to send some into silly aggression, and it will have a different tempo than Party or some other...

Re: Pokertracker stats - Is this swing ridiculous?

How about -300 BBs in ~2500 hands followed by +425 BBs in ~4000 hands? Defintiely my most extreme ups & downs that I can remember.

Re: Don\'t play blackjack shortstacked

What's the problem? You burned a lot of his outs if he's got 3 - 7 down.

Never mind if you have no more money at the table, a pair of eights is awesome. Two seperate pairs of eights? Awesomer!...

Re: Turn Line?

Bet the turn. You very well may be three-betting, too, depending on what happens. I find it hard to believe that CO checks a set on this turn and I think you're almost certainly ahead of him; if...

If your opponent is poor the implied odds on your K are pretty monstrous. I'd call here, I'm not expecting BB to have the 9, like, ever, and I don't expect him to re-raise with less than a...

Re: Q9s

Yeah it sucks to get this checked through. But honestly, this flop is getting bet like 95%+ of the time. We're first to act, and there is a reasonable chance that one of the guys before PFR donks...

Re: AQs, lots of outs on turn but trapped between two raisers

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that one of the two has a 9 in hand a huge % of the time when the turn goes bet-raise after the flop action on that board, so I'm not giving your overcard outs...

I started writing a post thinking you hit your straight on the river and evaluating overcall versus raising.

I don't like the river call. Yeah, pot is big, yada yada yada. But you described CO...

Re: River Decision

I call. I think this is a bluff or a 7 or an 89 hand that didn't want you folding to a turn raise way more often than a worse hand that pays off a raise. It's tough (impossible?) to put him on hand...

You're making a lot of assumptions here. You gave no read, so I'm treating him as unknown. You have 44 which means that if he's C/Ring a worse hand, it is total air or some draw. Do people do this...

Re: Fold my flush?

No one mentioned the flop.

I think you're much better off check-calling here. Yes, you have 3 callers so arguably you have more than enough equity to raise for value; however, when you raise a...
