Re: another not mine hand

I understand there are no reads, but it's tough because against some players I'm 3-betting this flop and leading the turn.

The way this went down, I think check / calling the turn is fine. ...

FOLD Preflop, terrible terrible play, you want to learn start there.

Re: 3/6: 66 in the SB flops OESD CR\'s turn

With a tighty in the BB I'd consider raising PF, since the UTG player seems like a sort of guy who's predictable, and getting it HU would be really nice.

I'd suggest betting the flop. I think...

Re: 99 vs 2

I take that back. Unless I knew in the first place that BTN would be the sort to call two with on the flop with (evidently) no hand, I think I'd muck this on the flop. Especially since this board...

Re: 99 vs 2

Your flop play and turn play are inconsistent. If you think you're behind enough to fold on the turn, you should fold on the flop.

I probably call down here against most 3/6 players and fold...

Re: I 3-bet turn...

Looks like spewage to me. If he sees you as aggressive, he may not give you credit for an A anyhow, thinking you'd have 3-bet preflop, meaning he may be more likely to call down with KK - JJ, or a...

Re: 77 vs single

If they're taking shots at you, call down. If villain is generally aggressive, call down. If villain is average / passive, or if you have a good image, I fold the turn.

Anyone else c/r this flop sometimes? I like betting at these HU uncoordinated flops when I have nothing, and trying to extract more when I have something.

Re: 5/10 river fold

Fold preflop, this is a trash hand. Almost 5:1 isn't enough.

How loose and how passive are these guys? Does UTG limp PF and cold call two on the river with an overpair? Or top pair? Against...

Re: Am I ever ahead?

Tough spot. Hard to think you're good very often, as it's pretty unlikely that a passive player will be bluff raising two opponents on the river. Getting around 12:1, though, I find it tough to...

Re: Fold to that river bet?

I think you can make a pretty good case for folding the turn in hand 1. On the river, folding >> raising > calling. There just aren't many times when both SB and LP have draws with no pair. To be...

Re: QQ - Slow down too soon on paired turn?

I'd raise on this river, and call a 3-bet based on the fact that he's shown an ability to make the desperation bluff.

I like calling down otherwise, because unless he's truly off his rocker,...

Re: TT in SB

I think it's a pretty easy PF 3-bet, even at a readless table. It's even easier here, with the reads you have. From there, the hand plays differently.

The way you played it, I'd c/r the flop and...

Re: Acquired another draw, but prolly behind

Which caller is the villain?

I'm not sure I play this preflop with only one limper in a 3/6 blind structure. I'd raise first in from BTN or sometimes CO, but I hate my position, and I hate it...

What's your plan for the river if you're called a) by one player or 2) by both players on the turn?

In Vegas from 9/21 - 9/27...where\'s the good action at the moment?

Howdy gang,

I'm going to be in Vegas later this week, from 9/21 through 9/27. Just wondering, where the action is good, as of late?

I play 5/10 6max online, and am probably going to be playing...

Re: J5s in the BB, not the draw I was looking for...

Peel. I'd estimate that your 5 out cards are probably good for a little more than 4 outs, and you're getting 10.5:1. (and UTG will usually come along, too...)

My estimate above is somewhat...

Re: The Good, The Bad....The Ugly? (9/12)

In hand two, the PF call is fine. Even if I pokerstove this guy and give him an 8% range of raising hands, we're still making a mistake by folding when we're getting 3:1.

I probably peel on the...

well played so far. id probably bet the turn because you probably have 10 outs and want to see the river, and the queen is a good scare card if he has like bottom pair.
