Re: Prima Bonus?
you can have accounts there, but you can't get the $300 bonus at River or Lucky if you've done GC.

Re: JJ...this hand made me sick (whining post)
I think he was slowplaying but then the flush froze him up.
You gotta raise preflop though , it's too likely that you'll have an overpair and then you'd want those extra bets for sure.
The...

Re: Play the math or the player, which one?
I'm 65% psychology/reading , 35% math ... there's a book by Matt Matros (he was on one of those WPT final tables on tv) coming out next year who supposedly plays solely on math.

Re: Trouble with AQo
I would have check raised the flop, led out betting the turn and the river. But in the end, you'd get the exact same number of bets anyways .. lol.
I didn't like that turn check, he could have...

How bad did I play this ?
I admit I may have been a little on tilt.. just got knocked out of a freeroll tournament and that usually does it for me. Also I just joined the table, have no read on this guy.
Party Poker 1/2...

Re: Just Calling
The flop is so ragged, I don't think you're going to have much action. I'd let the guy keep bluffing and then raise him on the river.

Re: Is the check behind on turn and river weak?
The only reason to bet would be to steal the pot.. I don't think you can honestly think you have the best hand , given the flop action. A bet is unlikely to make both of them fold since the pot is...

Re: Awful play, when should i have folded ?
he could easily be capping with the A of club or also a pair of queens or smaller pair with a decent club.
You need to bet the turn so he won't get a free card. If you get raised, then that tells...

Re: AKs when do I let it go? (Against super LAG)
You can't really let this one go.. you know this guy is a nutjob who will bet anything. You have 9.25 BB at the river , so you need to feel like you have a 9% chance of having the best hand in...

I personally would never chase a gutshot to the river, no matter what kind of odds I had..

Re: Odds to Chase?
You fold because you did not improve and others may have.
Gutshots are marginal draws anyways, but are only acceptable with the right flop and further implied odds. Once you miss on the turn,...

Re: Odds to Chase?
Gutshots are 10:1 based on card odds on the next cards, but I give it a 7:1 implied odds on a rainbow flop, 3.5 to 1 implied on 2 over cards and gutshot, but then discount it to 14:1 if the flop is...

yeah, those huge entry freerolls are incredibly difficult since you need to survive the fish early in the tournament, catch good enough cards in the middle, and win coin flips in the later stages. ...

Unfortunately, it looks like the only thing you're going to beat is a bluff. Is this a guy who has a track record of bluffing or overplaying hands that he raised preflop? If you have respect for...

Re: Is this turn fold to a 2 bet incorrect?
7.75 to 2 on an open ended straight draw, which is 4.1 to 1. That's a correct fold, give the guy credit for raising you out. My gripe is why did you call the flop? I see no draw at all, no...
