I am not sure why I just called on the river when the hand was playing out. I really was not giving enough thought to the way the hand had been played out, along with his stats.
Villain1 showed 22...

Strange AKs hand

Villain1 in the hand is 60/16/3 over 60 hands. The only thing interesting i have seen him do was limp/3-bet from utg w/AA.
Villain2 just sat down.

Re: Play these T\'s same way?

As played, I like it. However, I would throw in a c/c when the flush gets there, even fish make hands some time.

Re: Flush draw, huge growing pot.

[ QUOTE ]
Check on the turn is good, as is call. You've easily got the odds, and if you make your hand you'll be paid off like there's no tomorrow.

Re: ATs UTG 5-handed

When the BB calls the push on the flop, I think it's time to get the money in. Your getting about 3:1 to put him all in on the flop, throw it in there.

Re: JTo Thoughts on Flop Play?

Why no raise pf?

I like the turn raise, you are still ahead here more often than not. If you are 3-bet...

Re: Flush draw, huge growing pot.

Why did you check the trun? Planning on a c/r? That Q does look like an action card, but if a non Q/J spade had fallen, would you have lead out?

Also, unless you think utg+1 MP+2 MP+3 and CO all...

Re: suckout, or missed bets?

To be honest, I was not paying too much attention to him during the hand; my thinking being that if a card like an 8 9 T Q J or A fell, I would be in trouble (if not already). Also, AF is based on a...

Re: suckout, or missed bets?

With an agression factor of 8, you don't think I would have heard from him if he had something?

Re: suckout, or missed bets?

My gut told me that he had JT when he 3-bet the turn, and I got a little worried, untill I noticed that I had that hand crushed. If I cap the turn, whats my river play assuming he leads? Also, the...

Really? Even given the passive nature of the hand? I thought villain and the others were very likely to be betting a paired 4 or 2, and if...

Re: 55, how\'s my line for this hand?

And I am expected to not be as lazy?

On the flop, $1.50 or 6sb's, Turn was about $2.5 or 5bbs.

I called on the turn because a part of me thought that villain was simply betting because I...

Villain is 68.8/6.8/.91 over 44 hands. My play on the turn and expecially the river are where I would like comments.

Re: Over pair facing turn c/r, is my hand good?

I folded, I have been burned so many times by calling down c/r's in these spots that I thought I was making a good move. Also, sorry about the names, the hand converter was not working for me.

Over pair facing turn c/r, is my hand good?

Second hand with villain. The hand before, he capped the flop from the sb with 7 /images/graemlins/spade.gif6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif on a board of 227 with two other players.

PL$100, changing it up

I have been rather aggressive at this table. No reads on villain. Play was 10-handed

Villain $90

Standard raise, or push?

This hand came up in a typical college-dorm room SNG. Play was sixhanded at this point and hero in the hand, not me, is the smartest player in the game. Blinds are at T30/T60, chip stacks started at...

Re: AKs from the blinds, what do you do pre-flop?

I would bump it to $6 or $8. I have been burned recently by not pushing AK preflop and this looks like a time when smooth calling to see a flop and then dumping would be a bad idea. Get the money in...

Re: Flopped flush - board pairs on turn - What is standard line

Let me see what I advice/perspective I can give here. Given what I tend to think about the average 1-2 NL player, this is a push on the turn as most of the hands that villain will raise from the bb...
