I loved the film. Critically it did very well indeed, check out Rottentomatoes (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/serenity/). If you're not a fan of Whedons wit then it may well be just annoying...

Syriana, Good Night and Good Luck, and Serenity are easily my favorites of the year. I have yet to see Crash or King Kong, but expect them to be up there.

I recommend getting a dvd/tv set up in front of any static exercise machine (and infra-red/radio headphones too), so you can watch stuff while you train. Really helps keep it up.
