Re: I am in the middle of the most vicious downswing of my career.

Dropping even two buyins due to suckouts can really piss me off... if you have hit 30 its got to be assisted by some serious tilt. Take a break and come back fresh.

Re: fire the third barrel?

How can you check fold there? Villian could be calling with much worse hands than even KQ.

Re: AKs calls big raise and keeps getting called down??

What are you doing with those flop and turn bets?? Horrible is the only word. Like others have said make it pot sized or close to it on the flop.

Im going to take a wild stab and say that if you...

Re: live maniac isolation

Reraising preflop is a good play especially against this guy. If he is raising it a lot though (providing he has a good sized stack) isnt that when you want to be calling with speculative hands like...

Re: Multitabling question

The idea is to use a monitor that is big enough and has a high enough resolution to allow you to have 4+ tables on the screen without little or no overlap. I dont know what sort of monitor you are...

Re: AKs TPTK

Bet the pot or close to it on the flop. As it played you have to call that river bet but I dont like how you played the hand.

Re: 50 NL, top pair against crazy lag

Do you always play J9 to a raise UTG, or is it just because of BB being a lag?

After the preflop call I think you played it fine, Im not toally happy to call that river bet but would because you...

Re: \'tis I, Weakish McTightie. (AA, $25 party)

Why didnt you bet the turn? I think its a very weak fold.

Re: Folding aces on the flop?

Yeah I hate the fold here, I think I was playing a bit weakly. Calling and then seeing how he acts on the turn is probably better. Villian is a very tight player so a check minraise on that board...

Re: 100NL full: Overpair vs semi-shortstacked and loose-bad opponent...

If he is definitely loose and bad then call the raise and play it from there. Check turn if he checks, you may want fold if he makes a medium/big bet on the turn, dont know how good this is though.

Folding aces on the flop?

This hand just happened: Prima NL20 6 max, villain and I both have about $25. I get AA in mp and open for 4x BB. Called by loose, weak button and good TAG big blind.

Flop comes KKx, BB checks, I...

Re: How to play American Airlines

It sucks to have to fold but what can he push with that you can beat? Are you going to win this pot 1 in 3 times?

Re: Alternate route with AA

I realise that you are trying to trap the LAG but I dont think this is the hand to do it with when there is a paired board and even possible straight draw on the turn and I dont think you can put him...

Re: Alternate route with AA

I hate it. Good reraise preflop, bet the flop, bet the turn and bet decent amount on river.

Re: What I bet

I wont play A9, suited or not, UTG unless the table is very weak when you could raise it occasionally to mix things up.

Re: KK 3 barells line check (boring)

Is it too weak to check behind on the river? You have $50 left in this pot so can hardly fold to a raise on the river so do you want to call that with an unimproved overpair?

Re: KJs hand vs river bet

SB's flop bet looks pretty weak and so is his preflop raise (3bb) so with out any reads the average player at these levels could have a pretty big range here. I would raise the flop to ~$3 then go...

i think it's fine limping utg with 65s, as long as you're not really deep.

I'm pretty sure the exact opposite is true.
