Re: Tought spot? What do you do?

lets see..villan cold call 7x BB raise with players behind him. then pushes over the top of your nice size bet on a pretty raggy flop. I don't see 99 or 77 calling this much PF, and I dont see AK,...

Re: $22 - How do you play KK with a flopped A?

[ QUOTE ]
i would read that small bet as a blocking bet for his flush draw.

raising to 150 in a 500 pot gives him the odds to draw though.

raise to 300.

I second this...

Re: ATs on the button: postflop play

IMO this line is too passive.

For sure raise the flop. This is the kind of hand where I'd want to try and protect it. He could be semibluffing with a flush draw (pretty common in small stakes), or...

Re: $33: Weak top pair out ot BB, lead or follow?

So I guess you're kinda saying that you can't really protect this hand wo a check raise..that may be true..I guess I was thinking that I would be suprised (if I checked) to have someone bet this...

Re: Too large of a bet?

you are in a GREAT spot to make a TON of money..you ahve flopped a FH, and have action behingd you and a caller behind...you are vulnerable only to a higher full, say KT or KJ, and that person has...

Re: How do you play this hand $33

Bet the turn..since you have no reason to believe you'll have a chance to check raise. Your hand is vulnerable to overcards, from hands like KT, etc. I'd want to win this pot now.
Since you checked...

Re: $33: Weak top pair out ot BB, lead or follow?

for me this flop is protect or fold..since there was no strength at all PF..i'd try and protect it. I'd probably bet out the pot as a lead..3/4 is ok..I'd prob bet the pot.

but since you checked...

Re: Flopped the Nuts- Help Me Build a Pot

I think this board is soo scary that any raise and CO correctly put you on better hand..So, (1) call turn and lead river (1/3 pot?), or (2) small raise on turn (make it 10k?). I like option 1 the...

Re: Straightforward (?) hand from yesterday\'s PP $215

id have to call here..i dont think raising helps since UTG will probably call this. Do you have any READ on this guy?
in absence i'd call, see flop and see what he does (use your position to your...

Re: Flopped a boat out of position in multi-way pot

yea..i dont mind too much calling on turn..if BB has overpair, ace scares him..but you have to be thinking of raising the RIVER..

Re: AQo versus raise

yea..you really have to know something about this guy to push...with at least some read (ie he's an any acer, etc) i might even perform blashemy and CALL here as opposed to pushing and see what...

Re: Possible to lay trip kings down??

fold PF..fold to his allin.
If you call min raises with KT, you better get used to folding to strength like UTG+1 shows..cause these kind of hands can get you into trouble FAST. That's the prblm...

Re: Micro tourney decision - all-in post flop - call or fold.

hero curses and folds..
you dont have any $ in this pot relative to this bet.
the flop is very coordinated and therefore scary here.
I havent' run through every possible hand he could have, but...

i agree with the other posts unless you have a read on this guy. The deciding factor in my mind is the small pot.

Re: Turned Flush + Gut Shot

I think its Ok..you are asking for a bluff on the river if everyones misses, but if you hit a heart or jack, you'll probably get some action.
folding river is good since CO has called.

Re: Position question - a Maniac, two TAGs, and a Rock to my left

Boy, kinda depends on your style..
for me..id move to the other seat..get a drink and play tight waiting for hands that are worth getting involved in multiway (NOT AT!). My guess is your tight play...
