Re: Middle set on monotone flop vs LAG

His most likely hand is a pair + flush draw. He could have a made flush or top set, but these are more remote possibilities.

call and dodge another spade.

Re: Fake pieces of id for WPT-Carribean?

id say it at least partly depends on whether or not your friend can pass for 18. If he looks like hes 12, that would probly be a problem

checkraised on flop with overpair

Help on flop and turn would be great. villian was moderately selective preflop but very aggressive post flop.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (8 handed) converter...

Re: Yet another weak-tight turn?

[ QUOTE ]
You fired heavy at the flop, and he just called, not re-raising, so his hand cant be that good.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is not a good way to think of villians actions. His turn call...

Re: Late in tourney...10-10 on button...4 limpers....call or raise?

i think jamming it in here is the only play. Theres 18k in dead money out there, which would increase your stack by like 40%. I assume none of these players are real tricky, seeing as how it is a...

Re: Good bluff or just stupid?

i think that this play itself isn't terrible, but the timimg is. If you did this on the bubble when you and villina had comparible stacks, i would love it. However, on the first hand, increasing...

Re: How did I do with TP flush draw? Please post different lines.

I agree w/ xorbie in that the flop raise was much too small. You say in your post that you were trying to force out other heart draws, but uf that is the case, you def didn't raise enough. Both SB...

Re: super monday hand

just curious, did he donk his chips away or get bad beat, or lose a coin flip? This could factor into my decision

Re: Stars $150+12, barely in the $$, now what?

1) Personally, I push with A9 there. I hate getting down to less than 5 BB, beause then you really dont have enough chips to buy the blinds. I think you need to pick a spot, and this one is most...

Re: 270 start, 11 left, blinds 1k/2k, stack 14k, Ave. 22k

personally, I jam it in there, but I've been known to go on monkey tilt at this stage of tournaments.

seriously, everyone wants to make the final table, and you need to exploit that, so buying the...

Re: A9 UTG push this?

My first question would be how did you get down to 3BB in the first place? If it was by watching your stack get blinded away, you probably needed to be a little more aggressive before this point to...
