Re: 10/20 SB Hand 3

Don't be defensive. These guys are good players, and while they may or may not have larger cocks than you (prolly not, you look pretty bulky in your pic), you would be well advised to listen up, I...

Re: 75o

IMO this is a great flop to donk. Ppl mostly can't resist raising Ax when they have a wheel draw too.

Re: Hand Vs Good Player

CR'ing the turn sucks cos you gotta bet the river to get KJ/KT to fold (although it's still not _bad_).

CR'ing the flop sucks because there's a flush draw out and he'll put you on a draw too...

Had a look, good analysis mate.

If he will fold the K high hands on the turn and therefore can have only Ace high or an overcard(s) plus gutshot hand, he needs to be willing to bluff...

getting a LAG to fold on a paired flop HU, doesnt sound that promising to me

That's what they want you to think, and how they can run you over.

I think I'm getting CR'ed on the turn here huge amount, and while I would lay down to the CR, I'd know that I'd be getting pushed off the best hand...

Re: 75/150 River bluff #2

I'm pretty certain he's calling the turn with J5 and any gutshot + overcard, because this is effectively 10 outs to the hand I'm representing (threes). There are heaps of these combinations.

Now...

75/150 River bluff #2

SB is LAG and has been happy to pound away so far without trying to save bets. The hands I've show him down are all reasonable, and I haven't really been playing back much.

Folded to SB, who...

75/150 River bluff #1

Absolute Poker. Opponent has been tight so far, but he's on a shortish ($2k) stack. He has yet to play back at me.

I raise A/images/graemlins/heart.gif9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif button, SB...

I'm pretty sure if he bets a pair he's not folding to a CR here. I'm unknown to him too, and to CR here with AQ wouldn't be that uncommon in these games I don't think.

Anyhow, I went with the...

75/150 Bet or CR?

Absolute Poker. Most players I've encountered so far are either pretty good, or mediocre/bad (passive).

I run KTo in the HJ. Unknown button coldcalls (I'm thinking he's probably bad). BB calls....

Re: Line Costs Me The Pot or Can\'t Win?

I check call and will sometimes try to take the pot away on a blank turn card. Depends on what's been going on, though, and I'm relying on the player folding KQ/KJ/QJ, which I'm not sure is right at...
