Re: Cracked Aces Bonus - Vary How You Play Aces?

I haven't really thought this out, but at first glance it seems to be -EV. In the long run you'll make more money playing the aces as usual than the ten dollars every now and then that helps offset...

Re: Why are Hellmuth\'s books so bad?

I was bored and bought the tournament strategy one because ppl said it was the best one. I like Phil Helmuth as a player but I feel you had ten minutes of info and rest of it was fluff. He goes on...

Re: Why are Hellmuth\'s books so bad?

He wrote the single worst paragraph on O8 strategy in PPLP. He states that when you have a nut low draw you should ram and jam the pot since you are got have half of the pot covered to try and make...

Re: gametime+ & pokerroom problem

When I last played at PR there was no way around this. Try looking at the forums over at http://www.pokerdominion.com It is the guy who makes the software so you should be able to get your questions...

Re: Split the money or take it all?

It depends on how much $500 is worth to you. If you have mortgage coming up and are short on cash then that $500 is worth a lot more than if you don't have those kind of pressures hanging over you...

Re: Another full house scenario

There was no way to get Villian out of this pot. What the above are trying to stress is that at limits as low as this ppl are coming along for the ride. You lose lots of money in the long run not...

Re: Super System 2

The limit section is very well written but it's nothing new if you've read SSHE. The Omaha 8 is very good and is a must for the beginner O8 player. I have heard that the Stud Hi/Lo is great but I...

Re: Limit thinking?

Re: 4th level thinking in a 3 way pot

IMO the flop was a raise or fold decision. You obviously chose the wrong one.
