I have seen changing the chip demonination really liven up dead game before. Adding a kill pot changes things also.

The problem is, in casino you are pretty much tied to the standard...

I like the $5/$10 also. But you just don't get the fish gleefully calling with nothing simply for the chance to push those two big stack of eight chips each in, versus tossing in a couple of red...

I would think you would want to spread 3/6 & 6/12 or 4/8 & 6/12 instead of 5/10. Then after 6/12 jump up to 10/20.
