You have to get some money in at some point during the hand. Bet the flop, raise the turn and for god sakes bet the river. If they cant call you on the river at least you arent giving them any...

Raise preflop is fine but you have to remember people in low stake live games are there to gamble and have fun not fold. Keep getting money in preflop with your premiums but continuation betting...
