Re: Overlimping (thanks bottomset)

Also, with aggressive players behind you risk being raised and having to call another bet to see a flop.

Another excellent point i forgot to mention... That's probably a better reason to fold...

Re: Overlimping (thanks bottomset)

98s is ok multiway, but if you have 3 tighties on your left, you dont know that its gonna be multiway yet. 3-way isnt multiway enough for 98s imo. T9s, same thing.

Axs I probably limp with too...

Re: 33 flops bottom set on coordinated board

I think the play is fine too. Flush draws welcome, since you're on a boat draw and probably ahead for now anyway. Everyone calling down to the end makes me feel great, callers aren't usually gonna...

Re: Flopping Middle Pair - What to do ???

I don't know about open raising with ajo, I only do it from later position.

Possibly against popular opinion, I raise AJo UTG in 10h games almost every time.. Thin the herd..

BB looks like he...

Re: Flopping Middle Pair - What to do ???

I think I'd check it, there's 2 players in. He's might be going for another C/R, you raised PF, so you likely have an A, K, Q, you have something with that board. If he has a K, the worst he can do...

Or limp in and get out if the flop doesn't match up.

Re: Pocket Pairs in 6 max? What to do with them

I might be over-aggro, but I raise almost any PP PF, especially if I think I can get it HU, or from late position. Even if you miss, you're in EP, and it's 3-way, you can boss players out a good...

Why raise AQo UTG?

[/ QUOTE ]

I raise AQo PF 100% of the time, assuming I'm not looking at a raise in front of me already. In position, I usually 3-bet AQo PF.

OP: I agree with...

I think this is a little thin for a peel getting ~5.5:1, even with implied, but I would like you to convince me otherwise.

Re: full ring vs. 6-max

To put it in a nutshell, SH games force you to play more, thus giving you more opportunity to outplay your opponents.

Deception, nice article...

Re: How\'d I play this?

[ QUOTE ]
Preflop, is not bad.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's not?? You're what, about 16:1 against hitting 2pair/good draw, so you need to be sure this will be a 16bb pot at a bare minimum. I'd checkraise...

Re: How big does the pot have to be for you to agressively play aflushdraw

Betting a flush draw is more about how many players are in, not how big the pot is. If you have 2+ opponents in, you should always bet the flop, and raise if you know they'll call it. CALLING with...
