Re: give up?

Most of the time (90%) I just simply fold. I play 77 for set value in a raised pot.

Sometimes, when I get bored (no playable hands for a while) I call to see if he will bet after the turn or if I...

Re: Does this guy have the random number generation cracked? (nc)

What a nice play by the Button.
If you cannot recoginize the beauty of Button's play, try some NL cash games. You will see it a lot.

Re: Chau Giang

Limit and NL games are totally different.
If you play limit games all the time, but once for a while to play NL games, it will hurt your NL games.

Cash games and tournaments are in the same...

Poker tells and Poker Etiquette

When I watch WSOP and WTP on TV, I often see some players trying to pick a tell by asking some specific questions.

What I like to know are:

1. What are the best questions to ask so that you can...

Re: Poker Etiquette by Phil Hellmuth

Good point.
When my AK lost to KJ, I always say: Nice Hand.
I want the Donkey feels good about it and do it again and again.

You are a good player because there are bad players.
If there is no...

Re: Now I know what its like to play against me

I would bet 1/2 the pot after the turn if my flop bet is called. You don't want to give a free ride to flush draws, or Ax, Qx, Jx hands to outdraw you.

My question is: What do you do if you are...

Re: Flopped a straight, slow played it and saved my self an early exit

I don't like your play.
I would bet 1/3 to 1/2 the pot after flop.
You need to know where you are when you have the low end straight.

When a turn card K hit, I would think I am beaten if a big...

Re: Rebuy tourn\'s with \"Every hand pusher who has the 100K bankroll\"

For Stars' $10 rebuy tourney, what chip amount will be considered big enough so we can stop gambling with All INs?
10,000? 20,000? 30,000? after first hour?

Often I will be able to sit out 15 to 20 minutes from the end of this tourney as my chip stack is almost a mathematical lock to qualify.

Any other games like Stars $45,000?

Hi, I play regularly in Star's $10 rebuy $45,000 guaranteed MTT. I like the game because if I invest $10 - $40 per game and can have a shot at over $10,000.

Any other sites offer similar rebuy NL...

I really don't think Sam played anything better than Daniel.
Sam just got lucky.
Daniel played great but just got terribly unlucky.

If luck tilted a little to Daniel's side, the story will be...

Re: does he have quads....wtf do I do

I would lead a value bet after the river trying to represent I have a deuce. Vilian can easily put you on a deuce if he does not have one.

If Vilian does not have a deuce, he would fold or call....

Re: Unique steal situation. A pro and another guy who\'s pretty good.

Pro play at 10c blinds table?
what a waste of time and talent!

I am not a pro. I am playing at $200 ($1/$2) NL tables.
I moved up from NL25 to NL200.
If you cannot do that, don't be a pro....

Re: Another AK OOP Hand...

Most likely you are beaten.
Villian should have a set, AA or AK.
