Re: 3-6 heads up. Who bets on the turn here?

Heads up on the small blind, I've been raising with K,x. Perhaps others only call . . .

Re: Tainted outs - to call on turn? (3/6)

If we're being really pedantic, I need 7 outs to justify calling on the turn, given that there's a potential flush draw, and there's a possibility one or both of my opponents either have a Jack or an...

5.5:1 with less than 6outs? Fold.

[/ QUOTE ]

Okay i messed up the hand summary. I'm getting 5.5-1 on the turn, but I also have as many as 9 outs (2 8s, 3 Jacks and 4 9s) or as few...

Tainted outs - to call on turn? (3/6)

Crypto site $3-$6 4-handed.

No reads. On balance I think I should let this go on the turn. I've been defending my blind with hands like the following, but I guess some might let this go pre-flop....

Re: 3/6 - correct river fold?

Yes, I think in hindsight if I call the turn raise then I should call the river. The only thing I would say is that at 3/6 players tend to be more straightforward than at 5/10.

I would be...

3/6 - correct river fold?

I've had a -60BB downswing in last week, and although that's not the end of the world, I would appreciate comments on whether this hand was played correctly.

Re: Blind stealing with A9

If a rag comes on the river and he bets, the chances are that with A9 you're beat, so I'll fold the river

Re: Blind stealing with A9

I would probably check the turn here. Given his stats, he's unlikely to fold to your bet.

I would value bet the river, like you did

Should I have checked this down?

I mostly play limit, so perhaps the value bet on the river wasn't a good idea.

Re: I\'m sure many would have called this turn checkraise, but . . .

Yep - I'm sure many would agree with you, and in hindsight calling is almost certainly correct.

But the villain's betting pattern is very mysterious. If he had 10/10 - Q-Q a checkraise on the turn...

Re: Wondering about this river fold...

I can't see how you can fold on the river.

Apart from the fact you're getting 9-1, we know little about the villain (supposedly sensible from a small hand sample) so surely a call is necessary.

Re: Bad line?

Once he raises on the river there's nothing you can do but make a crying call.

I would have played this hand the same

Re: too tight?

I've been folding this pre-flop after a call from early position.

You've got 5 outs at the most and are getting 7-1 so you are not getting the correct odds to call for one more card. That said,...

Re: Was I too weak on the turn here?

Yes, that makes sense SU, but if he was drawing on the flop then he would have been more likely to raise on the flop.

After I checked the turn, somebody on a draw who didn't raise the flop is...

Re: Capping flop 3-way with second pair 2/4 online

What kind of player is the SB? If he's loose then raising's fine, if tight then I may even fold here on the flop. You haven't hit any draws and you could easily be up against somebody with an 8.

Re: After 5K hands - should I be worried?

UTG, I raise with A10o, but fold A9o.
I tend to limp with J10o early position, but will raise from CO onwards.
With PPs, I probably limp rather too much, but I raise 77 and upwards. Perhaps I...

Re: After 5K hands - should I be worried?

Maybe I should be trying to steal more with the likes of K9o, K8o. I've ususally been folding these. However, I find it hard to believe that raising on the button to steal with the likes of Q9o, Q8o...
