Re: favourite movie rants

Well, of all the causes to take up, AIDS, cancer... hunger, poverty. I've always felt there was something special about people who commit themselves to guns. Anyone I suppose could contribute to a...

Re: Probability of getting away with this.

I was actually watching this table & as I saw all the limpers - rare at this blind level I think - I thought I bet someone goes all in; sure enough the SB did with J4, the 2nd limper called with 66...

Re: Time for a heroic call?

I think this is a fold too. Less because of the hands than the reads you both had. My guess is his lead out bet was purposefully weak, because he presumed you'd see it as weak and come back at him....

Re: A situation I hate

I folded & I was miserable. I used to call these, but have been beaten too often recently & wonder if I'm not running scared. I think you are more like to see a flush or straight draw here than a...

2 hands from a $1mGTD qualifier

Both opponents have been aggressive to date, I've also been raising a lot (with good hands, but I haven't shown them down). Anyone play these differently?

Re: WPT Bellagio Five Diamond - Day Four (Official 5 Diamond Thread!)

plus $0.5m

Darrell Dicken raises to $175,000 from middle position, and Phil Laak calls from the small blind. The flop comes Jc-9h-2h, Laak bets $275,000, Dicken raises to $725,000, and Laak folds....

Re: WPT Bellagio Five Diamond - Day Four (Official 5 Diamond Thread!)

Gigabet must being doing something right, but the updates don't really help. He was at $2m, lost a big pot to Antonius and is now at $3m and all in the space of an hour...

Re: Hand Converter

World Cup Value Bets

Anyone got any decent value bets for the World Cup? Long odds players that could become leading goalscorers. Teams that will do better than their world ranking indicates etc.

Re: Reraise AK

It wasn't a rebuy. I did fold. I was more interested in whether you'd normally reraise and how much. UTG thought about it for a while & called; anyone want to have a stab at the hands?

Re: (OT) Play better... when Tipsy?
