I'm on the downside also so I think I just call then check/call river. But sometimes I think I'm a candy*** too.

Re: Hammer the river?

Thanks for all the replies. AK has been a troublesome hand for me. It nice to see that most of you think I generaly played this one good.

Re: Flopped trips (again), worst turn card possible.

The check line is player dependent IMO. Reads would be helpful. I think you could value bet a quality player. If villan is a decent to fair player they most likely wouldn't have limped with...

Re: Time to shove?? or be more patient??

This article might help you. Don't know if you ever go to the 2+2 mag but I found this there. Good Luck. link (http://www.twoplustwo.com/magazine/current/streib1105.html)

Re: JJ - Missed value bet?

I think so. With a villan as loose as this I would put him on a suited ace or ace rag along with any pocket pair. He didn't check raise the turn so I think I would fire at the river. For what it...

Re: How many ways did I stuff this up???

I don't really see how we can continue with this hand. Looks good to me. Too bad it was a nice pot. Was folding the turn UI or to a diamond your plan post flop?

Floped the Set...Now What

Pre Flop reads I thought that, well, I might have the third best hand. Read a hand post where someone had JJ on Button and it was 3-bet to him and the consenus was that he should fold thought about...

Re: Folded two top pairs

Should have lead or check raised the turn.

Ed Miller also said, " While a bettor can be bluffing a caller can not." I would fold the river to the caller. Heads up I would call though.

Re: Bad play on these hands?

Here is what I would do:

Hand 1: Call the river. I think he filled up

Hand 2: Same

Hand 3: Same

I don't really reply to hands much but I need to start. Is this close to right anyone

Re: Hellmuth dogging Raymer

[ QUOTE ]
If you're going to dog Hellmuth, it really needs to be for something other than his career tournament record.
