Re: Northwestern -14 @ Illinois

They made it hard on everyone who picked them, but NW finally covered late. I went for three units on this one. Thanks, MT2R.

Re: College Basketball Tonight, What do you think?

I couldn't figure this game out. Syracuse opened as a one-point favourite, then the line lurched over to Tech -1, now it's back to Syracuse -1.5.

Re: How do you Calculate ROI and finding good bets

ROI = net winnings/total amount wagered

It stands for "return on investment."

Re: Deepstack time!!! Anyone in??

I would've bet about 1200 and hoped someone wouldn't be able to get away from their aces or something. The board's too scary for someone to bet into it without a really good hand.

Re: Deepstack time!!! Anyone in??

Yeah, I put him on the flush draw...there were only four cards in the deck that would have cost me more money, and that was one of them.

Given how loose the table is, anyone not push the flop on...

Re: Deepstack time!!! Anyone in??

Wouldn't you know it...I flop trips, turn a full house and can't get paid off. Still just under 6K.

Re: Deepstack time!!! Anyone in??

Up to 6K at the first break, not bad for being mostly card dead.

Re: Deepstack time!!! Anyone in??

I hate AK UTG with deep money. I never know how to play it. I couldn't see leading into two players who called a preflop raise here at any point on this board...

I'm in. I'm probably going to play for 6 hours and go out near the bubble, but no worries.

Re: At what point do I stop firing here?

I'd slow way down here. If he's passive, he may have just decided to call you down instead of betting himself, and he's probably got you beat.
