200 6-max hand that made me feel Yucky

I have $197 to start this hand and the BB starts with $130. BB bought in for $100 6 hands ago.

UTG folds and the next two players limp to me on the button. I call with the Q...

Re: The Best Player in the NBA is . . .

Boring or not, its Duncan and I really don't think it is all that close right now. IMO the Best Player should be defined as the guy who gives you the best chance to win the Title. To do this you...

Re: What\'s the dumbest bet you\'ve ever made?

I won $5 dollars from my brother the other night betting on the outcome of that night's episode of The OC. That was pretty silly.

Re: Black Aces on the Button- What is the flop play?

I think UTG+1 calls with any suited hand that makes 2 pair, QJs for sure, TT, 99, AJs /images/graemlins/diamond.gif, possibly some other suited aces. He'd raise KK and probably AK...

Re: 15/30 QTs flop

I'd lead and 3-bet if CO calls and Button raises. I don't think cr'ing gets you all that much equity from cleaning up any outs against the CO and it would really suck to lose him from contributing...

Surprised by all the fold responses. Not time to give up on aces yet. Victor's line is good.

Re: Black Aces on the Button- What is the flop play?

There are just SOOO many hands that UTG+1 can have that you're badly behind here. Also, if UTG+1 was the type of player to make a raise on this flop to try and shut you out as a preflop 3-bettor I...

Re: NL200 66

If you're gonna bet this turn its gotta be bigger, I'd say about 65-85 range. 40 is just cheap enough to let him keep calling with a hand like TT or JJ and also is giving him a nice price if he is...

Re: Class President Robs Bank after running up Poker Debt

Actually, I got an email from a friend sarcastically instructing me not to rob any banks after seeing it on TV.

I'd wanna pick teams where each one was The Show in their area and the ownership/administration seemed at least adequate. Here goes.

Everything about this game is terrible. The players on both teams are bad, the coaches for both teams are schizophrenic and confused, the announcing is predictably ridiculous, and the officials...

Big Flop Overpush

I'm not sure I like either of my preflop calls so I'd be curious to hear what you think of those too. BB is loosey-goosey, but hasn't seemed downright crazy with a VPIP% of 54 and PFR% of 19.

Re: Top Conferences Top-to-Bottom Using Sagarin Predictor

Try looking at the common opponents:

NW and MSU had 5 common opponents:

NW went 2-3 and MSU went 1-4 and got housed by NW at home.

Iowa and MSU have 7 common opponents:

Iowa went 4-3...
