Re: omg full house!

[ QUOTE ]
Three-betting the turn should be considered. I tend to like your line, though, as I don't want to fold, don't want to spew against a hand like A6, and am happy to let my opponent continue...

Re: omg full house!

Would you also raise the river if it were a 2?

Re: Have I gotten weak? TT UTG

This is fine. His AF isn't particularly high and you'll probably have to call another bet on the river if you call the turn. Just don't seem worth it.

omg full house!

Party 3/6 full table. Pretty juicy game. Villain in this hand is slightly loose, slightly passive preflop. Postflop he is probably like most typical Party 3/6 players.

Anyways, he limps in EP. ...

Re: KTs blind steal

Would anyone check/raise the flop here..? Because i might do it.

As you called, i would definetly bet the turn.

Re: AK top two...too aggro?

[ QUOTE ]
First off when I have no read on the villain, I assume he will play his hand somewhat logically. Since you raised from early position, your opponents 3 bet has more meaning. Since he...

Re: AK top two...too aggro?

[ QUOTE ]
If I had to guess we are facing a villian with trips or a straight.

[/ QUOTE ]

Villain is halfway decent, I doubt he's 3-betting QJ.

AK top two...too aggro?

Villain in this hand is OK. Hasn't been too crazy or anything. I think he is a little on the loose side, but probably has the right amount of aggression with his decent hands. Sorry, no PT stats....

Re: 10/20 KJ play along

Check. If TAG knows you're a TAG, he knows there's no way you're betting anything less than a K here and he won't raise with a worse hand to blow away the field. So hope he bets QQ/JJ/whatever here...

Re: KTs blind steal

I would bet. If his AF were higher maybe you could check to induce a river bluff. Bet it cause he calls with all kinds of crap. If he was betting a gutshot on the flop he either just hit it or...

Re: Something different - KK

Why no flop bet? Aren't you ahead here a lot of the time, especially with the flush draw?

I would've folded to his raise, not enough money to chase the flush or hope to pick up an A.

Re: Raising AJo UTG

Raise it up. An added benefit is TAGs will fold hands you don't really want to play against, like KQo and 88.

Re: Odd structure at Mandalay Bay. Strategy?

You can really kill the implied odds of small pairs and suited connecters when you raise with AK or JJ or something like that.

So you would definitely tighten up preflop, and only play "drawing"...

Re: No two poker games the same have ever been played?

I also remember reading somewhere that two completely randomized decks of cards have almost certainly never been in the same order. 52! is like, a really big number, man.

Pretty crazy stuff.

Re: Would you roll the dice on your life? At what cost if any?

I picked 1000:1 but for no good reason really.

I think that if I died on a die roll, my life would have been worth living just for the absurdity that I died on a die roll.
