Re: Stinking Donk Re-raise from the button!

[ QUOTE ]
This might not be addressing the call of the question directly, but I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the possibility of check-raising on the flop. You've got top pair. Your opponent...

Re: Did I get slowrolled here?

[ QUOTE ]
I see what you're saying. Check the turn and see what he does next street, because people are more inclined to play an Ace. That said, do you fold a river push after that?

Re: Rebuy & Add on tourneys. Advice needed....

Sorry Pondy, but there's no "best way" to play the start of a rebuy tournament. It's probably the most situation dependent phase of any tournament. Really try to pay attention to the individual...

Re: How about THIS for a Re-Steal?

[ QUOTE ]
Vilian is TIGHT and although he could have anything here, feels like a good spot for a shot.

Again, I'd like to hear some discussion on re-steals in general, position, stack size, table...

Re: Easy push, easy fold, or tough decision?

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ]
I'd push. I'm not giving UTG+1 credit for having a QQ-AA, AQ+ range here. I think his range is more likely 99-AA, ATs+, especially if he thinks UTG is a weak/tight player.

Re: Easy push, easy fold, or tough decision?

Wow, what a crappy spot to be in. I think the correct play is to fold, so of course I probably push.

Since utg +1 is an unknown, I push in a lower buy in event, and fold in anything $50 and up buy...

Re: MTT - Did I play this one wrong?

I went broke right alongside you on this one. Not much you can do here, besides fold to the flop minraise, and it takes a strong read for me to be able to do that.

Re: Creaking floorboards

I'm a carpenter, and agree that the most effective remedy would be to remove the carpet and screw the flooring to the joists.

Re: Can I Make More Money on Flopped Quads?

Having just limped in,on the flop I "bluff" about 400 after that weak bet and call. If they truly have nothing, they're going to fold without putting much more in this pot regardless. With any luck,...

Re: The M and Q ratio

The blinds are so high compared to your stack that your "lead" is an illusion. You can go from leader to midstack just by being pushed off your blinds a few times, in contrast to having a high M AND...

Re: deciding to make a move on pot
