Re: Shorthanded AK Turn

Fold the turn, not a big pot to draw. If he is very loose and agressive sometimes you have the best hand, but you will have to pay turn and river unimproved to see that.

Re: Finding your biggest leak

as he says in the large leaks are the ones that appear more frequently and then will cost you more money in the long run.

How does Hero know that UTG+1 wil raise. He said He "hoped" that player would raise; not that his notes indicated an aggression level indicative of villain making an auto-raise. On this...

Re: A8s, loose game, flops 2 pair

Thank you all,

Re: Making the most with a baby flush

I bet and 3-bet the turn, idea trying to charge the most from the pair, straight hands, and bigger flush draw hands.

Re: BB hand! 1/2

If you bet the turn, you can prevent him from seeing the river for free when he has a flush draw or overcards. Any reads?

How to adjust to VERY loose shorthanded games?

Hi,

How do you adjust to the very loose shorthanded games? What are the differences in the strategy including preflop raising standards? Sometimes the players will call down almost all your...

Re: Big draw

I like raising the flop not only for a free card, but also because of your huge equity slightly over 50% to make a straight or a flush.
Turn - your equity drops and then i dont think raising is...

Re: Value bet overpair on river with str and flush on board?

sometimes you lose, but the river bet makes good money in the long run because of the worse hands that call it down.

Well if we bet and are raised we have odds to call(Depending on how much you discount). we'll be getting 7:1 anyhow so 6outs+ and its a call.

Due to this i either bet(fold...

you dont have a flush

Re: A6s and middle pair, raggedy board

[ QUOTE ]
You have a maximum of 5 outs. 2 of them are not clean. So I think there is no way to check/call. Even with callers in front of you I would either bet out or check/fold.

Because the CO is so tight preflop I think you will be behind more often; also I think is hard to make it heads up with him with this bet hoping for him to raise. I think i would have just checked...

I am thinking that the best benefit for this situation is when you know the poster is very tight preflop: that can make you lower your stealing standards, and if the steal succeeds you get a bigger...

There is still a chance that you have the best hand. I like the flop check-raise when a late position bets. However if you do it i believe you have to bet the turn, as the last money you put in...

Re: Middle pair against a known maniac

Raise his bet, probably bringing it heads up with him. And then put in the number of bets you feel comfortable with later.

Re: Amusing AKs hand
