Re: tv tuner worth hundred dollar

It's useful to you if you use it. Buy a cheap one off eBay for $30 and pocket the difference. There are plenty of free software programs to recording/DVR stuff if you're interested.

Re: How easy is it to replace a motherboard in a notebook?

[ QUOTE ]
I asked them if there was a possibility that there was some problem causing the motherboard to go bad, as I had just had it replaced. They said the most likely scenario was that when I...

Re: Adding a Monitor for a 9300 that doesn\'t support 1920x1200.

You cannot get your 9300 to function at 1920 x 1200 unless you bought the WUXGA screen. The video card can handle that resolution (meaning if you plugged a 2001FP into it, it could run at 1600 x...

Re: need a DualHead PCI card

That one is fine. Watch the DVD's on the DVI side and leave the VGA side for just poker and other inane crap you don't need to look 100% perfect. Chances are you're not going to notice the...

Very small company...nothing you've heard of. We run www.smartfax.com (http://www.smartfax.com) and www.faxmicro.com. (http://www.faxmicro.com.)

Re: Stock of the Day: JCOM

[ QUOTE ]
Thanks for the info. It seems to me that these services don't have a very wide "moat" (i.e. competitors could provide similar options fairly easily, driving down the margins). Thus JCOM...

Re: Stock of the Day: JCOM

We are one of J2's competitors, and anyone who invests in them is very wise. They own a portfolio of patents and marks which make their product very tough to compete with. Smaller companies which...

Re: 55 gigs gone in a flash!

You should *NOT* be paying a monthly fee for any type of virus program...there are just too many free/open source options for you rather than pissing your money away (especially on stuff that...

Re: future monitors...>1200 vert resolution?

Plenty of monitors go way above 1600 x 1200, but they're not mainstream, are still usually expensive. Here is a 3840 x 2400:

[ QUOTE ]
