Re: $2/$4, $3/$6 vs. $0.5/$1 games at Party
Yes, they are very different games. I personally didn't find 2/4 game to be that difficult just a tighter and bit more agressive than .5/1 but still pretty good. The 3/6 is were the real fun starts....

Borgata 10/20 hand
Reads: Table is pretty good overall, similar to a good 2/4 table on Party. Me and my friends are probably the best 2 players there. UTG+1 is my friend who is typically tight/very agressive, capable...

Re: 10-20 hand
Nice hand, we should all be that lucky. I don't think there's a place where you could have folded here, so you played it well. I would have raised the river though, the pot is so big everyone would...

Re: Party 2/4. slowplaying aces?
Slowplaying Aces is usually a mistake at Party 2/4. Although, it obviously situation dependent. In a very tight/agressive, where people respect the raises pre-flop but will try to squeeze every last...

Re: AJs from EP
My first reaction was to fold the flop, but yeah, you actually correct here. Most likely you have 7 outs on the flop so it makes sense to continue. Raising is probably better than calling against...

Re: Bison?
That's a pretty bad fold in my opinion. What exactly are you putting him on? Slowplayed pocket Kings? If he's is a TAG than he wouldn't have cold-called preflop with pocket 3's or 4's. He might have...

Re: kk and ace on the flop
I would have fired at the pot one more time and would fold to a turn raise. However, your turn check isn't really that horrible, because the pot is not that big, but it's definately an invitation for...

Re: AJs SB Defense
I think you let go of that hand too early. I would 3-bet, the flop here, and lead the turn, if Button didn't cap. His raise on the flop doesn't mean anything because he might suspect you are trying...

Re: Galaxy NYC
I was there on Saturday. They didn't have a tournament but 1-2 NL game was excellent. Couple of guys had to rebuy 5 times or so. There were about 9-10 people at any time. Overall, it's a good room, I...

Re: Results
UTG had KTo for a pair of Kings. CO had AJo for a pair of Jacks. Turn out that I did fold the best hand but looking at the situation I think the fold was justified.

Re: Could\'ve sworn I wasn\'t playing on Party...
I think it's an easy 3-bet on the river. Conceivably he could have raised on the button with 43 trying to steal the pot but it's much more likely than he rivered Aces up or even just a pair of Aces....

Pocket Aces in big trouble
<font color="blue"> Just sat down on this table not much of a read on either opponent. They did look much looser than average Party 3/6 player (especially UTG). CO seemed more agressive than usual...

Re: Playing Live tonight.
It obviously depends on the game conditions but for typical Vegas or AC 4/8 game 19% VP$IP is usually way too tight, you can safely play many more hands, especially if they are suited. Of course, if...

Re: First Stab at 3/6
DeeJ, I knew that flush and straight draws weren't going anywhere, I was trying to fold mid-pairs, overcards and, hopefully, a Queen with low kicker.
What would happen if I got 3 bet on the turn?...

Re: Plugging Leaks with AJo.
I raise with it preflop all the time too, just like other guys. I'm not doing that well with it neither though, +.03BB/hand. Maybe it's the sample (168 hands for AJo) or maybe it's the postflop flop....

Re: 99... what\'s your plan?
Bet on the turn and then fold to a raise. Your spade out is too weak and the pot is not big enough to call this raise. You are almost always behind here, and even if he's bluffing it would take two...
