Re: 15/30 LO8 turn decision

he leads into a loaded field w/no low there and a a few low draws.

turn is the ace and he fires again, this just doesn't seem like an open-ender betting the flop, unless he's got a made high to...

Re: A2JT hand

in a multi way pot, the turn is a fold w/no redraws and no real high hand.

I'd be interested to see the betting on the turn on a 5 or 7 offsuit. If there is considerable action is it better to...

Re: Letters of Resignation

The standard procedure is, walk in and tell your boss you need to talk. Let them know you're leaving and if they need assistance before hiring a replacement, give them a timeline that's suitable for...

Re: My poker (loser) experience

Sounds like you're a gambler and need the action. Walking away for a while should be help BUT you'll probably find yourself back at the tables before you're committed to playing your top game again....

"I could check-rasie all-in on an overbet looking bluff that AA-QQ might call? "

Most players would read a flop check-raise all in as a big draw. Even if they dont, very few fold QQ-AA...

Re: 65s from BB, 20/40ish

if you want to open push the turn on a non-spade, non-deuce, you'll have to make it at least 650 on the flop.

pot will be $1550 and he'll have around $1500 left. However, big pairs can fold a lot...

Re: 5/10 NL SH--chip spewing? (deep stacks)

If you make your hand on the river, your hand is very hard to get paid off on so generally I don't like calling. You'll have to tag him on the river for ~$300 on the river for neutral EV, which would...

Re: deep-stack 5-10 hand: JJ out of position

if he has a draw, his $50 flop bet is weak for a LAG and since you check-raise there, a big draw would likely put in a three bet. any overpair would probably see a bigger flop bet there. so looks...

Re: 10-20 NL (Live) - push or raise flop?

super lags don't lay down top two or top/bottom.

When you push after that action you're saying you don't care about UTG having top or second set (or even third set) so either you think he's FOS or...

Check the turn - If I had AQ I may very well check this turn.

If he bets the river - I'm gone. If he checks the river, I bet pot.

Bet again...

With your smooth call pre-flop... I don't think he puts you on AA or KK. Your bet on a flop indicates a Q in your hand. If he was behind, i.e. trying to catch an A or...
