Re: AKo UTG - is this a standard line?

Appreciate the replies, helped put my mind at ease a bit.

Couple of followup questions: Would you call down or fold if villian capped, and led the turn? How about if I was C/R on the turn?

AKo UTG - is this a standard line?

This feels very "standard", but I've been having some troubles the last few days and want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong.

I just sat at the table a few hands ago, but I know from...

Re: Proper level and playing site for my bankroll?

Based on your posts, I don't think you should consider playing anything above $2/$4, just on a skill basis alone. $3/$6 and $5/$10 are filled with, on average, better players who would relieve you...

Re: Eurobet\'s new bonus:

A 10x PokerRoom bonus is equivilant to 70% rakeback. Since the point system is tied directly to the rake generated, it works out exactly.

Re: Back-to-back Quads?

The interesting "twist" on this one was that the quads were identical (7777) to the previous hand. But unless I'm missing it completely, that would put the probability at 193323:1 against it...

Re: Back-to-back Quads?

Very true, very true. The first hand completing quads is the catalyst event, so the odds at that point are all revolving around the chance of hitting that *specific* quad hand. Still funky to think...

Back-to-back Quads?

Had an interesting situation occur in a recent tournament I was in, wondering what the odds were of it happening.

Got dealt pocket 7's, flopped a set, turned quads.
Very next hand: Get dealt...

Re: Have you played with me? 5/10

Just played with you today, actually. You and the uber-fish at the table were going back and forth like crazy, it was kind of funny - but only because the uber-fish was playing right along with it. ...

Re: tax question

I have to agree with Iceman on this one - I *religiously* pay my taxes (quarterly, etc.), and I'm fairly sure if I was in this situation (which I hope never to be), that I would just "ignore" this...

Re: Dumb tax questions.

I record both rakeback & bonuses as seperate "session" income. I don't mix it with session win/losses, as it is rare for me to run one single session and receive a bonus at the end of it... since it...

Re: Party observer chat \"temporarily\" suspended. Yeah. Right.

It's a fair way to resolve the issue, but my father is a bit of a technophobe, so adding something "new" to the equation at his end always takes time for me to help him learn it.

It's not a big...

Re: Party observer chat \"temporarily\" suspended. Yeah. Right.

I disagree for the most part with this change. It certainly has helped with the spam issues (can't deny that), but it isn't a perfect solution. My father plays on PartyPoker as well, and he likes...

Re: www.checknraise.com

It is now on the Poker Network, but this was a very recent change, so not everybody is aware of it.

Yes, you should take advantage of the bonus, it works out to be a ~75% rakeback while you are...

Re: For those that get \"Paypal\" and \"Ebay\" emails

When I get these, and I have some time to kill, I often will fill out everything with false, but close to real, information. Figure that the least I can do is make them go off on a wild goose chase...

Re: How can I make my Eurobet tables look like Multipokers?

You really only want to copy the "table.jpg" and the seat??.jpg (seat0.jpg, seat1.jpg, etc.). If you copy the whole images folder, it will look like you're running Multipoker when you run Eurobet -...

Re: New Pokerroom Rate Structure?

Good luck figuring it out - their website still lists the rake for $2/$4 as $1 taken out at $20, when it hasn't been that way for quite a few months

PokerRoom does way too much of this "stealth"...

Re: FEEDBACK NEEDED re: Making Pokertracker more USA-Taxpayer-friendl

I would actually hate to see this implemented in PT. I track sessions on a daily basis per site - if I tracked it on a table basis, I'd be doing nothing but increasing the "income" and "losses"...
