Re: KK 15/30 at Stars

That's a fine example of a typical weak/tight play.

Re: Did you stay in school?

Getting a piece of paper that says "I can sit bored for many hours on end and not get anything done while bsing my way along" is overrated. OTOH, it's quite useful for the all too common corporate...

Re: Party adding more 30/60 tables..

[ QUOTE ]

So you're saying that they do limit the number of 15/30 6max tables? Then shouldn't the waiting lists for the few they have be really long? The few times I've glanced at it, there were...

Re: 99 in the SB (30/60)

I agree with those who said that the only necessary to change is check/calling the river to hopefully induce a bluff, but I think the caveat should be added that this is the right *default* play. How...

Re: Rule/Ethics question

It seems to me that you got robbed with the ruling, although it did end up working out fine. As for the ethics of it, I personally don't consider it ethical to tell someone they should go all in, but...

Re: Comparing Limit to NL

That low? I would have thought NL would be at least double the profitability of limit rather than barely more.

Comparing Limit to NL

Okay, I'm a winning 15/30 player on Party. I multitable for slightly under 3BB/100. I've been wanting to move up in limits, but that's not possible on Party and other sites just don't seem to have...

Re: Ultra high buy-in SnG...beatable?

I was talking about *average* $200 SNGs, not the ones full of all the best regulars, but even then, you guys are good, but not *that* good. Get over yourself.

Re: Ultra high buy-in SnG...beatable?

[ QUOTE ]
Edit: On second thought, i cant buy this. I dont think that is possible. I may be wrong, but i dont think 40% is achievable at 200+15 for ANYONE. 30%, ok, not 40. But i dont play that...

Re: Ultra high buy-in SnG...beatable?

1. $5000 is way too low stakes for a SnG for the best players in the world. $50,000 would be better, but probably still too low.

2. A very, very good player should be able to beat $200+15's for at...

Re: Looking for a >100K HH PT database of a 15/30, >+3.75 BB/100 winne

I dunno about that Bob. I make about 3BB/100 playing 4 tables and I have some definite holes in my game. I can see how someone playing just one table could easily get that high. Then again, it's...

Re: PP 15/30 88, looking for opinions

[ QUOTE ]
I think isolating with 88 require a bit of knowledge about the player. Probalby not a great play vs an unknown mid-position raiser.

Re: PP 15/30 88, looking for opinions

Bet out and happily 3bet if he raises again. The odds of you being beat here are minimal and to extract the maximum when you win, you've just got to suck it up and pay him off if you actually are...

Re: 30/60 bellagio

A fine example of how to throw away money to A9s, T9s or 55-88. You should have called the river. I like your play okay other than that. He looks like a man with either a 9 or a lower pocket pair to...

Re: AKo utg 15/30

The way I'd usually play it is to raise and cap him on the flop and if he shows aggression after that, just call him down. The only question for me really is if he just calls on the flop then bets...

Re: I can\'t play in Million Dollar tourney...entertaining options here...

IMO, you should play. Since your thing is 3 hours after the tourney starts, if you're still in by the time you need to go, you're doing well enough that it becomes worthwhile to be late. The longer...

Re: Value bet this river?

If the player is as much of an overbluffer as you say, check/calling to induce another bluff is definitely the right play. OTOH, if there's a good chance that getting double check/raised will scare...
