Re: high implied odds?

[ QUOTE ]
You still have 3 players yet to act. Do you really want to take the chance of betting and having it raised or possibly reraised when all you have is a gutshot and weak overcards? Your...

Re: high implied odds?

Yes. Call the flop with your overcards gutshots getting 7:1 closing the action. Don't fold.

I think there is a decent argument for leading at this flop too, especially if you are planning on...

I'm not sure I understand this flop bet.

2. Flop three-bet is absolutely necessary, particularly if it will force out some of the one-bet types. Waiting until the turn makes some sense here, but you can confront a...

Re: Did Ernie mess this up?

Deranged:

[ QUOTE ]
Getting 7.5-2 with 4 clean outs and 3 very, very tenuous ones, I can't think calling the flop is ever correct here. In fact I think it really, really sucks.

Re: T5o- from BB flops TP on 3-suited board

I think the fold here is perfect. Weak top pair no kicker on a monotone flop with 4 opponents...yuk. If you do have the best hand now, it is unlikely to finish that way, especially with everyone...

Say its folded to you in LP, and you raise with a marginal hand, say K8s or A7o. Only the bb calls, and the flop comes all rags, say 339. the BB checks, do you auto bet here...

Re: party badbeat jackpot tables

I'd really like to see some math showing that I'm giving up a full BB/100.

I've been finding success in isolating TAG-type players who limp in EP. Given the type of player they are and the range of hands that this type of player will limp in EP - I...

Note the board here is pretty uncoordinated, and your opponent will not often fold a pair here

Think about the mathematics of semi-bluffing here:

With 8 outs to the nuts here and possible clean overcards, let's estimate your total number of outs at 10-12. So your...

Re: Why does no one fold to turn raises?

Brett:

[ QUOTE ]
You need to reevaluate why you think your opponent will fold. If that's his range and he's not folding this turn then semi-bluffing is not the right move.

Yes... so why would you want to raise the turn against this range?

Semi-bluff. A detailed explanation is available in TOP.
