Re: First Time in Vegas...

6/12 is with 1's and 5's. I'm not a great judge of how tough it is. The Mirage 3/6 is definitely easier. Maybe sit down there first and move to 6/12 if you're feeling comfortable (just recognize...

Re: First Time in Vegas...

Mirage spreads 6/12.

On a slow day, Sahara might get $3 Blackjack going. San Remo (across the street from the motor entrance to MGM) sometimes goes pretty low. Cheapest way to get free drinks...

Re: Table selection

Depending on how new you are to poker and/or what limits you're playing at, you might consider just jumping into an available game to get experience against a wide range of players. From there, you...

Re: cards flow hot and cold!!

My own hot-cold story that made me scratch my head: a few weeks ago when playing B&M low limit two nights in a row - First night down 34BB; second night, up 75BB.

The results were very...

Re: Small Stakes Hold Em question

As you can see, this situation is profitable for both players. Clearly it is more profitable for you to bet because of your positive expectation (without seeing the last card) that you will win the...

PAHUD can also be a crutch since you can see mucked cards

If you ever get below 12 BB on the table, just pull some more cash out.
