a very smart poker pro in AC once gave me some great advice - if you are going to lose with a set you better lose the maximum amount of chips or you are not playing the hand correctly. slow playing...

take your free card on the flop and fold the turn. you dont have the right odds to call and some of your outs may only get a split pot. the other thing to consider is that the turn might get capped...

i would 3 bet the flop then fold to a bet or bet to a check on the turn with the plan to check through the river. i don't like checking through the turn if you are going to call the river bet anyway.

i dont think the river bet has much value after the checked turn. if your opponent was drawing and missed he folds to a bet but you may induce a bluff by checking.

With utg and cutoff calling I fold this hand. Original better probably has a flush draw or he probably would have checked to the button raiser and gone for the check raise to make utg and cutoff...
