I\'ts been bothering me
I was playing 10-20 blind nlhe at the commerce, sometime at the end of February right after the big tournament, when the following hand came up between myself and an east coast pro (Paul Wolfe? Wolfe...

Re: Tournament question
Don't know if they will censor the following word, but [censored] it . . . at this point you might as well go all in. You barely have a bet left, you have a live overcard to the likely pair, and...

Re: results oriented results--no peeking
I didn't peek.
You played the hand perfectly--although you might have, with so many limpers and sitting on the button, raised pre-flop. That would have given you momentum and some extra ways to...

Re: Stud 8
Not a razz hand at all. I would raise here on 3rd street every time with this hand if the Ace were totally live and usually if I had a shot at getting it heads up or if it was definite that there...

Value Bet on the river (?)
20-40 at Hawaiian Gardens.
I am one in front of the cutoff with AdTd. One early position limper and the guy two to my right.
I raise, get called by the big blind and both limpers.
Flop...

Re: 7-Stud-8-which hand would you rather hold?
I thought so too.
Have you ever played in a game where every pot you win comes with a lecture?
I had the Ac6c-3s and made Aces up against two obvious high hands which turned out to be the KKs...

Bottom two
Towards the end of a long night. 5-10 PLHE
I am in sb with three limpers including the button, a very solid player and the only player at the table with the chips to bust me (I have about 1800.)...

Re: AA vs. KK heads-up all-in
There used to be a 2-5 blind NLHE at the TExas Station in Las Vegas. I threw away KK once, and I am pretty sure that it was the right thing to do--although I didn't see the hand, it was a similar...

Re: AA vs. KK heads-up all-in
If you really wanted to lose the middle position guy, and you really thought that AA,KK,QQ or AK was possible, with Jacks say 25% possible, then it is simple math and combinations. 6 AA, 1KK, 6QQ,...

Re: How bad did i play AA?
I like the play from start to finish actually.
Pre-Flop, gotta raise with the absolute best hand here. KK or QQ through TT, I might just check it, but you have AA.
ON the flop, the intent of...

Re: $30/$60 hand for Andy B.
If he has AdKh you have 2 outs.
If he has 9d7d you have no outs.
If he has any diamond higher than an eight with another diamond you have no outs.
The spots where you have no outs or two...

Re: results
I like the flop bet.
On the turn, there is too much stuff out there that can beat you that a caller could have. You could also easily have him beat. Why not check/call here? I am usually not an...

Re: results
If you were pretty sure where you were on the turn, shouldn't you have laid it down?
Even if you were beat by two small pair--say 6c5c, I am not sure you had odds to call.

Re: $30/$60 hand for Andy B.
I don't think your bet on the flop was bad. Your turn bet, however, wasn't smart.
I would fold to a raise here.
Check and call the river.

Re: Playing with the only solid player in LA
A bet works better here than checking. You are risking $40 to win $340 if your opponents fold--and they both just checked to you--and are also likely to be put out of your misery if someone has you...

Re: Two little pair on 5th
I raise here to clear out the other callers, or fold, depending on the liveness of the 10s and 3s and also on the liveness of the Aces, Kings, and Hearts. Even one ten or three out when the better...
