Re: wilson vs. poker pro academy

If you search on these forums, you can find lots and lots of previous discussions. Also, both programs have freely downloadable demo versions, so you can just go and evaluate them both yourself,...

Re: glitch in 1.51 version of poker academy pro (limit short handed)

Read my original post. I don't think I was out of line. I didn't say anything mean -- I simply asked why he was posting that here rather than telling the developers directly. Then I pointed out that...

Re: glitch in 1.51 version of poker academy pro (limit short handed)

Damned right it makes us look bad, and undeservedly so. You'd be hard pressed to find a software company with better customer and product support than Poker Academy.

So it does irk me when people...

Re: glitch in 1.51 version of poker academy pro (limit short handed)

Why are you posting this here? You should be posting this to the Poker Academy forums or e-mailing Poker Academy support. Posting a bug report here is awfully counter-productive. For what it's worth,...

Re: Wilson Turbo poker vs. Poki-Poker (Poker academy pro)

The bots in PA are very configurable. If you want them to be more aggressive, just edit them and drag the passive/aggressive postflop slider to make it more aggressive.

Likewise, if you want them...

Re: Online PokiBot v2.0

These scumbags are not affiliated with Pokibot, Poker Academy, or the UofA Poker AI Research in ANY way. Don't fall victim to their scam. I wish they had the decency to stop tarnishing our 'pokibot'...

Re: Poker Academy $20 at Fry\'s

To clarify all the confusion (hopefully):

Fry's is selling 'Poker Academy' but it seems they have mistakenly called it 'Poki's Poker Academy' in their database. We'll ask them to correct that...

Re: Does anyone own Poker Academy software and would you recommend it?

[ QUOTE ]
One problem: I cannot get the authorization code to work on the second computer. It specifically says that it can be loaded & used on two computers that I own.

Poki was renamed "Poker Academy Pro" in November, and now includes no-limit tournaments as well. It is a free upgrade for all owners of "Poki's Poker Academy", so if you currently own it, make sure...

Re: Software comparison

Yes, it's just that simple. We decided to compete, we'd just blow everything else out of the water :-)

Re: Software comparison

AncientGamer,

Both websites have free demo versions you can download. Why not download both demos and compare them?

I can tell you ahead of time, although with *extreme* bias, you will quickly...

Poki will let you lock your pocket cards, and also lock your position, but you cannot chose your opponent's cards

Re: Poki Poker Academy Software

Well, I don't know if posting the url will get me in trouble, so lets just say that if you type 'poki poker academy' into google, you can find out all about it.

Re: Poki Poker Academy Software

Yep, fully endorsed by the GAMES group. The only poki code we ever made open source was the basic utility code classes for game management and hand evaluation. We have never released code for the AI.

Re: Poki to be commercially released!

Yes, a demo should be released sometime this coming week. I am quite sure we'll be sending out review copies to all of the appropriate places, but I don't know when.

Re: Poki to be commercially released!
