Re: How\'s my line here with 88? (6 max)

I donīt like the river fold:

Opponent have a str at the river?.. Since you have pocket 8 the likehood of him having Q8 goes down quite a bit. If he had KQ he would often have raised preflop.

Re: Against a thinking TAG.....

You should calldown when you would have folded to a 3-bet.

Actually, this was what i intented to write. I would prefer call-call. You win the most when in front and looses less when behind.

Re: Against a thinking TAG.....

Since you raised in middle position you do not signal a blind steal. The fact that the flop is super-scary, he chooses to c/r you and he bets out on the turn, indicates that he is confident of his...

Re: Hand from a 6-max table -- handreading.

KQs, QJs, (QTs)

BB seems to have missed a flush draw. I do not think he had an ace. On the flop he wanted to represent the A, b/c he knew the other ppl holding a A would properbly have raised...

Re: I liked my play at lot more before than now

The hand range you put him on seems quite broad. Do you really think he would c/r a pre-flop raiser with qt and qj...?

And the river raise? - What kind of hands do you put him on there?

Re: Seen enough to slow down?

The SB 3-bet and heīs aggression on the flop indicates that you are up against two high pairs.

You beat:
qq 6
jj (discounted) 3
= 9 ways

You lose:
AA = 6 ways.

I have no idea what CO is doing, but he doesn't get credit for a straight because he couldn't fold on the turn.

The pot would be 11.75 at showdown where you had to pay 2,5 to call him down.

Fold.

If we assume AA-JJ, AK and AQs as the starting hand then we are ahead the following %-age of the time:

Preflop and flop seems pretty standard to me.

A question I would ask myself in the heat of the action when facing the turn raise would be:

"If he would bluff more often than 20% here, i would...

Besides the factors that already have been mentioned I would also take into account the chance that someone might take a stab at the pot with no hand at all.

I use reads and pokertracker statistic...

If UTG+2 has a worse ace, then he has a lot of outs against you (mostly to a chop). However, it's not like raising will get him to fold, and he won't fold an ace on the river either.

Re: mistake?

I would give you 3 outs on the flop. 2 for the two 7īs + 1 for str8+flsh.

So you need 14:1 to call.

You need to contract 2 big bets to make this breakeven, which is very likely.

Lets take...
