Re: Hand from a 6-max table -- handreading.

Some notes on what others have guessed -

I would guess that two clubs is not in his holding or he would have reraised the flop for value.

KK seems odd to me as there are a bunch of flop...

Re: A note on the idea of WAWB

[ QUOTE ]
Here's one with the same flop but a different situation. A TAG raises, you 3-bet KK, and he caps. Let's say his capping range is AA-JJ, AK. The flop comes AA2, same as last hand. This...

Re: Is there a point where I stop raising here?

[ QUOTE ]
But seriously... if it was NL, I would have called an all-in, so in this case, I would definitely keep raising.

Re: Sig Sauer P226 9mm

I've seen a ton on the Glock vs. Sig debate. My recommendation to you would be to handle each gun before purchasing it. My Sig fits my hand like a dream. Glocks are extremely uncomfortable in my...

Re: Sig Sauer P226 9mm

Nice recommendation.

I have the P229 as well. This is a great gun. I agree with you that he should bump up from the 9mm. I like the idea of a 40 caliber better for self-defense though.

Re: Why Party Blackjack is Wrong

You make a reasonable point, but there also might be a hidden advantage here.

If party begins to market itself as a blackjack site as well, it might attract new players. Just like a casino, there...

I know I said I wasn't going to reply anymore, but it seems that this topic has gotten a few more responses and I think I'll clarify a few things. Peachy, not all of these comments are for your...

Re: Fake Wedding - Advice Request

Ok - I guess the concensus here is that I'm being a baby. I can accept that. In general though, I just find it disgusting when people lie about something like this - especially to people that they...

Re: PokerAce Heads Up Display - Version 0.27 Released

APerfect10,

My point was merely that the guy (or gal) you described was a tight post-flop player, but played aggressively when he did decide to continue. I read your statement to imply that by...

Re: Agression Frequency and auto-rate players

[ QUOTE ]
2. The optimum Aggression frequency seems to be around 45% flop, 50% turn and 50% river. Less than 35% is passive and over 50% is aggressive. Over 60% is over aggressive.

Re: PokerAce Heads Up Display - Version 0.27 Released

1. If a player sees 100 flops, bets 10, calls 2 and folds the rest (88) his PT Aggression Factor (AF) is 5.00 which would appear that he is aggressive. I personally wouldnt call a player...

Re: AJ - Top pair facing turn raise.

Yeah,

I think you are right - betting is probably best (although I think reads could help us make this decision). I actually need to make that bet more often. Doesn't it suck when you know you...

Re: AJ - Top pair facing turn raise.

This looks like a WA/WB situation in my opinion. What about check/call flop, check/call turn, and either check/call or bet the river?

Opinons??

Not that I am advocating it (I'd have to observe his play), but if you are going to call the river, why not raise the turn. There's a chance he'll fold overpairs (as a scary card has just dropped...

Re: Raise or Fold?

Without reads on the other 3 players, I like your fold (heck, I'd need pretty solid reads to consider anything else). My reasons for folding:
