I checked out the database a few weeks ago. I started using the program and find it has merit. Especially for a around 1 $30+3 buy-in. Im using it in conjunction with pokertracker. Anyone Ive played...

Re: should i move up?

The other option is to add more tables. I would suggest learning to multi-table the 11s first. At least 4 table them and move on to 6-8 if you can manage. Than move up if your are still generating a...

Will Justice Be Served?

Hero flops trips vs. Villian's gutshot in Level 2. Villian hits gutshot and hero is crushed down to T200 chips. Hero is determined to scratch and claw his way into the money. Will justice be served...

Re: 100 SnG check-up

I agree! I came from the limit forums intially and this is the best forum on 2+2 in my opinion. The advice and insight you get here is invaluable.

Re: New party NL games = good

I agree. I started playing these this week. Wanted to get more time in at the tables and improve my post flop game. Working off bonus and cleaning up on the NL $25. Its been pretty poor play even in...

Was unsure how to play this river. Any comments on other streets? UTG had been playing solid. VP$IP was a little high but nothing crazy.

Re: Post your February Stats here

Party $10+1s
235 sngs
40.43% ITM
24.56% ROI

This was my worst performance at the 10s in 6 month. Im just started 6 tabling and will move to 8 tabling if my ROI doesnt sink too low.

Re: Villians pushes on the flop

Thanks for the feedback. I ended up winning all 3 hands. Ive never played much NL Ring on Party and was surprised how poor the play was at times. I agree hand #1 was a tough call. Villian showed Ad...

Villians pushes on the flop

I've been playing NL SnG's for 3 months after cutting my teeth on limit ring games. I'm starting to play NLHE ring to improve my post flop skills and work off some bonuses. Here are a few hands from...

Re: Any really big mistakes entering SNGs on party? (low real content)

Re: ARRRRGGGHHH(do not read if you dont want to listen to me whine)

If they have indeed tightened and I had to hazard a guess I would say it is a pendelum swing from ring game players to sng players. I think the 10s were so beatable that an influx of ring game...

Re: ARRRRGGGHHH(do not read if you dont want to listen to me whine)

Im saying that the texture of the games has changed. 6 months ago you could post and fold into the money in a majority of $10+1s. Over the last 1-2 months it is very common to be 7-8 handed at level...

Re: ARRRRGGGHHH(do not read if you dont want to listen to me whine)

Could the ROI drop be partially due to the improved play on the party sngs. I have seen the 10s and 20s improve over the last 2-3 months. Im not say they are unbeatable but the texture of the games...

Re: sng\'s hourly rate

I think anyone who reads these boards and puts some effort into their game could easily make $10/hr 2-3 tabling the 10s. And you could get close to the $20/hr range 4 tabling the 10s.

Re: How long is the average Party SNG?

Ive actually tracked the time of SnGs in Aleo's spreadsheet. At the 10s and 20s with over 500 logged I have an average sng time of 37 minutes.
