Re: i knew he was gonna do that

Any merit to checking this flop?

You are out of position against 2 opponents, and with that board (3 cards in playing zone) I don't think you are taking this down with a flop bet. In fact, you...

yes, but i do not want to get moved off by what could be the best hand by a c/r. and by checking most players will bluff regardless of river.

That's a tough spot then,...

Re: 10/20 SB Hand 1

I might check that flop, it really is a bad flop for your hand. I don't think I'd lead the turn either, bad card.

Re: I Hate this hand

an alternative plan: call the flop and plan on raising a "safe" turn card.

I'd rather he folded. Your hand is very vulnerable, it's not a way ahead/way behind thing, if you are ahead he's probably got at least 6...

Re: 10/20 SB Hand 2

Folding the turn is ok as people have suggested, but if you did have some kind of read that he was an aggressive player then I think the calldown is fine.

Re: A HU hand. River play.

Sounds like you are trying something out, but I'd usually 3-bet this preflop.

I'd check/call the river.

You have to show this down, but he very well could have a flush. If he is decent then I...

Re: Turn question w/ QQ, Party 30/60.

[ QUOTE ]
Hmm, tough one. Ace is certainly the most common holding for villian here. Most other possibilities would have raised the flop (like 88).

With the club I like check calling the turn...

I normally 3-bet the flop and lead turn.

Re: the felt is not mi casa today

Hand 1: Without a read I'd let it go on the flop, lots of ways for you to be behind. I'd also consider capping preflop.

Hand 2: I'd bet, you hate to give a free card here. Getting raised is...

Re: 10/20 Limit HE, 10 seat Hand - could you have gotten away from it?

You can fold preflop.

Since you didn't do that, you should checkraise the flop and plan on leading most turn cards

Turn question w/ QQ, Party 30/60.

Party $30/$60 9-handed.

My only experience with the villian in this hand is from playing shorthanded with him, he was an aggressive and fairly tough player.

Villian open raises UTG+1, folded to...

Bottom line is unless there's a lot of people in you'd rather put in one bet

Re: Vegas options for SH games

It's tough to find.

Casinos like to keep the tables full, and many players start to whine when the game gets short.

Playing late night hours is probably your best bet. Also the higher limits...

Re: 20/40 hand. I don\'t know about this one.

Against two players I fire almost every time, against three I think it's real close and you should mix it up some percentage of the time, table dynamics play into this too.

I may fire once here...

..."whiskey bar" ?

I like every street. I think the turn is the only question, to 3-bet or not...but his stats aren't too far out of line so I think a call down is fine.

100/200, what\'s your flop play?

Bay 101.

5-handed 100/200. I sat down about 30 min ago, and the only hand I've showndown was a winner.

Re: 10/20 AQs blind steal

I don't care for the turn call. Be happy you got a four card flop, and muck the turn. Or if you want to make a move, raise the turn, maybe you get the button off of a pair but I don't like it as...

Re: Donk river bet, what\'s my line?

I'll raise this, I don't see how that 3 helps him (unless he has pocket 3's, wouldn't that be sick). If he bamboozled me with a nine, then I guess he earned himself another bet 'cause I payoff a...

Re: Big pot, is this too crazy?

I don't like the flop check raise, 4 way capped pot...this one is going to showdown and you are gonna need to improve to win.
