What's this guy's went to showdown percentage? In other words, is he capable of laying down a hand? If not, then the flop is certainly spewage. I'd probably check call looking to spike an ace or...

Re: KJs and ugly board
Against only two preflop callers, getting 7.5:1 I'm taking a stab at the pot unless I have a good read that one or both callers is either: (i) a mondo-calling station, or (ii) in love with ace rag.

Re: AQ on a paired board.
It might seem weak, but I like check calling the turn. It seems to me that the only hands he'll fold to a bet or checkraise are those that we already have beat.

Re: AJs in BB
I'm capping it, but then I'm treading pretty carefully on the flop and afterwards. Obviously, the lag could have anything. If the tag is even remotely decent, he knows this as well and his...

Re: A question about Fold Equity
My understanding is that the term refers to the likelihood of all other players folding.
This is an incredibly oversimplified example, but for instance: if you raise pre-flop with ace/queen, get...

Re: Something to help others with variance
Great post.
One criticism though. I'm not sure how this ultimately affects your analysis, but I believe your assumptions ignore hands that the hero wins without a showdown.
In other words,...

AJs and drawing - Too weak tight on the turn?
Unfortunately, no specific read on Villain as he just sat down about 5 hands earlier.

Anyone like this river call?
I've been lurking for a while and figured it was time for a post. Big blind is a decent tight agressive player. UTG+1 just sat down a few hands before, so the only read I have on him is by virtue...
