Re: 88 3 handed...

88 3 handed...

Already ITM, I am chip leader with around 5,300. The other two players each had around 3k in chips. Button is a L/A player and doubles the BB to 300. SB also a L/A player flat calls. I push all...

Re: SNG question...please don\'t be too harsh...

Re: I feel ashamed for not raising with my no-draw ten-high.

Ok thank you, I was viewing the 4bb pot and feeling like a bluff 25% of the time was the right play. However, I see your point about it being a -EV situation therefore is a losing play to bet the...

Re: I feel ashamed for not raising with my no-draw ten-high.

I agree with leading out on the turn close to 100% of the time. Assuming you do, and are called by the button, what % of the time is correct to bet at the river when another brick hits?

Re: I feel ashamed for not raising with my no-draw ten-high.

So assuming LP button calls your turn bet, what % of the time is it correct EV to bet the river when a brick hits?

Re: How to best combat this...

ahh, very good point. I guess that is blatantly obvious, but at times (while playing) these things tend to be neglected. So in summation, you feel the best way to combat the aggro is to allow him...

Re: How to best combat this...

So he raises my BB of AK, I re-raise (knowing he is going to cap) and he caps. I miss the flop and bet, he raises. Do I just got into auto check call mode?

As a side not, this happened many...
