Re: three hands against one maniac

This is twice in the same thread you've twisted someone out of context. I assume it's simply being carelessness/inconsiderate, and I ask that you be more careful.

Re: three hands against one maniac

Maybe sarcastic is the right word because of the "of course." I'm not sure. My point was to introduce something you hadn't thought about, even though it is effectively irrelevant -- by which I mean,...

Re: three hands against one maniac

Your editing destroys what I said.

You are nearly 7:3 against a random hand, ie, better than 2:1.

my read of this player was solid and if she kept going i wouldve kept going and i wouldve been right to.

Re: three hands against one maniac

Maybe this is weak tight thinking, but if she'd go 12 bets with a single overcard on a 632 board, doesn't that make her call of your flop 4 bet pretty scary?

Re: LIVE 20. KK. NOT SURE I LIKE MY HAND.

I'm not sure why your inability to articulate yourself makes me such a bad guy. My problem with the turn raise is that it doesn't chase the loose guy with any piece of the board and it probably isn't...

Re: LIVE 20. 85s. AM I SICK?

Your description of your two opponents, which, of course, may not be reliable as we've established in another thread, is what makes me say this. Obviously your edge is huge and you know it, or it...

Re: LIVE 20. KK. NOT SURE I LIKE MY HAND.

I'd rather you tell me what someone you call an extremely passive nit caps out of the BB with. The person that I call that has AA or KK.

Re: LIVE 20. 85s. AM I SICK?

The preflop decision seems foolish. What would a check raise on the turn tell you about his hand?

Extremely passive nits caps out of the BB? Hmmmm. What hands do you put him on?

Gangsta.

Cold-calling in the hopes of knocking him of JJ on AK boards is daft. Gangsta, but daft.

He has at least an A or K...

Re: A preflop question

Since they are utg that typically means far fewer raises than their average of 10%. At around 5.5%, they are raising 99+, AJs+, and AQo+ -- ie, half their hands are bigger pairs, and the other half...

Re: AA

You don't want to take credit for playing the river perfectly as you suggest any other way is less profitable. How is this not more word games? I'd wish you luck, but you clearly don't need any with...

Re: AA HU

Then on the theory he has one of those hands (or a better one), push. You win plenty that way. Easy game.

Re: 10/20 AA turn

I lead and 3 bet. I've found that people pretend to have the nuts more often that they do. I've got him squarely on Ad5d, and I think he'll raise the turn. I'm afraid that he has QT and plans on...

Re: 10/20 at the Taj

I don't see why you want to set up a fold of top pair heads up in what is nearing a steal situation against a bluffer on a draw heavy board.

I call the turn and river, unless he likes to bluff...

Re: 30/60 Stars Hand - Analysis Please

I think preflop is fine. I like the flop bet because putting in two flop bets doesn't necessarily suck so much, and it will likely put pressure on some would be hangers on -- contrast that with a...

[ QUOTE ]
He never said she was passive. He said she was a little too passive. Maybe he should explain what that means. To me it means she plays aggressively, but misses a lot of bets.
