Re: 2/4 Folding a flush when board pairs on river

I'd lead the turn a little larger. I was contemplating a turn check/push here, but there are two very obvious risks here that make it not the best line.
As played, I think I lead the turn for 1/2...

Re: 5/10: QQ vs. lolo

Have you seen him raise small pairs in EP? A lot of super LAG's do. This really feels 50/50 to me. Against two opponents who limped called with your button raise, they could still play on with some...

Re: Flopped nuts turns to scary huge pot

Well if you apply your notes AND look at how cordinated the flop is, then this is an ideal situation to raise the flop and get it all in.

Yeah, don't know what I'm second guessing here. Perhaps the weak/tight player putting in money in on this flop... I dunno.

AK with re-draw against short stacked opponent

Villian is tight/passive. Are we doing anything different, or is this standard?

AK - call on the end?

Villian is very loose, and not overly aggresive, but also not passive. Comments on any streets appreciated.

Re: bottom 2 pair flop fold?

Smells like JT or perhaps does regular limp JJ often? Either way it's an easy fold.

Re: AK Help

I bet a little more on the turn here. Let me put it this way, villian pretty much knows what you have here and he wants to get more money in the pot with his trips. I fold this turn raise nearly...

Re: I can\'t get away from top set here can I?

True, I did make a mistake in not assuming hero will be paid off here(if he just calls), which he will most of the time if he connects - that was a lack of thinking. You could have just pointed that...

First of all a call makes no sense.

If your read is that he has a flush 100.000% of the time, your implied odds are 3.2763 to 1 and as you pointed out you need 3.40529 to 1 in order...

Re: Blind steal turned draw

My favorite line against these "types" of opponents OOP is check/call the flop, lead the turn for 3/4 - full pot size. It works a lot. If you happened to be called, you can check the river and...

Re: I can\'t get away from top set here can I?

If he TRULY is a fish(meaning typically very passive), then I fold to the mini-raise. In my experience I've found I'm usually beat in these spots more often than not. If others disagree, I'd love to...

Re: 2/4 Inside straight and flush draw - suggest a better line.

OOP I like the check/raise with these big draws. It's the optimal (and thought standard line) in these situations. 1) you get more money in and have fold equity 2) you may even get a free card.

Re: baby two pair hand

I overbet these kinds of flops. I find it works better when I have a marginal/decent hand and I'm OOP. I get to know right away how much people like their hand, and it helps my later decisions a lot....
