b/f and c/c on the river will cost me the same. Why would b/f on the river be better?

Re: Lay down pocket queens?

[ QUOTE ]
This is exactly how I would play it. I could see there being a case for a turn bet, though it seems pretty likely that you would get called (there's some possibility of getting raised,...

Re: Lay down pocket queens?

UGH-lee!

Jax is right...fire on more on the turn as the last money you put in. You'll either get raised by a made flush or you'll fold a made flush, and either way you're likely to get a free...

Re: How to play this AJo hand

[ QUOTE ]
I wouldn't raise AJo in a full ring game from MP, LP it's a raise otherwise call. Without reads on the villain, the rest of your play is fine.

Depends on the table, but...

Re: 99 flops set, river gets ugly

[ QUOTE ]
So, on the turn we are giving villain automatic credit for KQ. We have a set, I think we have to at least consider a raise here.

I'd consider it for about a second. The...

Re: 99 flops set, river gets ugly

Looks ordinary against an unknown. Reads would change the dynamic more than being HU.

Re: one card OESD on flop

You've got all sorts of draws on that flop, plus middle pair. Given there wasn't any pfr, I'd probably bet it out, too, as I don't want a cheap queen to fall on the turn.

Once you weren't raised...

Re: Did I miss a clear raise on the flop?

You do realize that the Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif on the river likely hurt you more than it helped you, right?

At least you raised preflop, so got one street right.

Re: [censored][censored] Blind Steal

Why no flop raise, Kwaz? TP, position, short handed? That might let you out cheaper on the turn, but I think you have to give it up when it's two back to you on the turn.
