Re: so, how\'s the 2/4 and 3/6 games on pokerroom

Re: The SSH for NL?

HEFAP is strictly about limit play. Harrington contains all you need to know about NL Hold'em tournament play. Early level play has alot in common with cash games, and you can extrapolate from the...

CCing A4s was bad.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not very. I don't think there is any immense amount of value around, but it's probably ok to call with the raiser and three cold-callers in the pot...

Re: Authors and WSOP bracelets?

It seems Sklansky is a regular in the 300/600 games or so. Neither he nor Malmuth play anywhere near full time any more. Running 2+2 just takes too much time.

Atleast Sklansky plays play...

Re: Ciaffone\'s Improve your Poker

Mason gave it a 9 or 10. It richly deserves a 10 in my opinion.

Re: How do they know?

They might very well be violating national law in many domicilies by gathering this type of data without asking for permission. I know Blizzard North had to remove that spyware from their Diablo II...

Anyways, if you're making a mistake folding, it can't be a big mistake since it's hard to put the aggressor on something like 9-5 for the smaller two pairs.

Re: 6-table LHE strategy?

Check out Weighing the Odds in Hold'em by King Yao.
The shorthanded chapter in HEFAP if you play lots of 2-3 handed poker. (Don't do this at lower limits, rake will most likely kill you on most...

Re: 67s on the button, 8 to the flop, i flop top pair

Our equity against 7 completely random hands is ~18.2%. The random hands equity is ~11.7%. A 'fair share' would be 12.5%. Notice that we are actually likely to improve and still lose, our showdown...

We're only talking about hands we limp behind with?

ATo, KJ/KTo, QJ/QTo, JTo
A9s-A2s, K9s, QTs/Q9s, JTs-J8s.

Anything better than that range I raise with.
