Re: Party 600NL - Bottom set - heavy action

Depends whether you know utg well enough to tell if he open-limps or open-raises with QQ and JJ, and whether he would reraise. Without having proper experience, I say he would (re)raise, so put him...

Because a bow ainīt got no trigger, \"Rambo\"?

Sorry, couldnīt resist.

I know what you mean, but betting that little more often than not means "I want a cheap showdown". Raise to 2.5 times his bet sounds about right here.

Re: Party 600 NL AK hand

He would have raised with AA, QQ, and AQ from late middle so that leaves only 55 and A5s beating you (barring Axs turned two pair). I think I put him on KQs, KJs, KTs, QTs, QJs, or JTs and push. If...

Re: Whats the nature of Party 5/10 sh??

Heads up, young paladin and defender of all that is +EV, others have defeated the demons spawned by the hell of 5/10-6max and you can slay them too!

Re: Whats the nature of Party 5/10 sh??

Re: Raising with AKs

Why not go allin preflop with your 500? Some may think you desperate to steal a big pot, so they might call with hands they should fold. Would have saved you the trouble of considering how to play...

Re: Opening with A9o and A8o from utg and utg+1 (party 10/20, 6max)

I realize that in a poll taken about 2 months back, most posters wrote they would always open-raise; the 2nd largest group was the one who would almost always open-raise. Yet even though I find...

Re: Opening with A9o and A8o from utg and utg+1 (party 10/20, 6max)

What about open-limping with A9o and A8o from utg? I will do so with other hands down to 22 and JTo (as the worst) because they are to good to toss vs K5s and other nonsense, but too bad when they...

Opening with A9o and A8o from utg and utg+1 (party 10/20, 6max)

From cutoff or button this is a clear raise for me. But do you raise, limp, or fold from utg or utg+1? Especially, what do your statistics say about that? Thank you.

Re: can anyone tell me what a good a 5-10 6max player makes?

I used to make over 14 big bets/hour while playing 3 tables after 140+ hours played. Now Iīm busy getting my win rate at 10/20 over 10bb/h while playing 4 tables.

Re: Entirely new starting hand questions! (party 10/20, 6max)

I know they are rather marginal - but Iīm trying to find out where (more or less) *exactly* to draw the line.

Re: WHAT IS THE AVERAGE TWO CARD HOLDING?

Average heads-up hands(i.e. almost +/-0 EV if you just deal it out against a random hand): K2o, Q5o, J7o, T8o, and of course 22.

K8s, Q8s, J8s, T8s, or 98s-54s?

And how close is it? Thanks in advance.

Re: Full Ring VS. 6max

Some of you make it sound as if shorthanded was inferior to full games, but the opposite is true both (as one poster stated) for the money and the fun. So why change back??? I utterly fail to see the...

Re: Starting hands question #3 and #4 (party 10/20 6max)

I dont stoop down to any two suited with two limpers either, but my blind structure a little different as well.

I know, but with 7-1 preflop and about 5-1 postflop, donīt you think any two suited...

Re: Starting hands question #3 and #4 (party 10/20 6max)

With only 1 limper u should focus more on high cards because u will often win with a pair and u will not get drawing odds.

I know, I know. But still: Is 43s or even 54s a fold with 5-1 to see the...

Starting hands question #3 and #4 (party 10/20 6max)

3) What are the minimum calling hands from SB with one caller to you?

My current answers this would be 22; A2 (suited and offsuit); K9o, K2s; Q9o, Q2s; J9o, J7s; T9s-54s, T8s-43s

4) What are...

Re: This guy PFRed me 700 Str8 hands and beat me for 3k!

Aggression always is good headsup. But I guess the fluctuations must have been very much in favor of your opponent. Sometimes happens to the super-loosies, no one wins as much in a session than a...

Re: open ended with 2 overs on turn

With two overcards to the oes you can sure make this call despite the pair and the flush draws.

Re: Call, Raise, or Fold the flop?

Calls. Your additional backdoor outs plus your position make this an easy call.
