Re: A6s w00t

Easy fold on the river. I doubt you were best heading into it anyway. Your play up until then seemed fine though.

Re: 10/20 A high against LAG

So the moral of the story seems to be... that it is suicide that I play 10/20 6max and still am too lazy to figure out how pokertracker works.

OK OK... time to take the time to load all my saved...

10/20 A high against LAG

Known LAG open-raises from Button. I am in BB w/ A3o. I call. HU.

Flop: 8s2hTc

I check. LAG bets.

Now I feel like I often have the best hand here. But am I supposed to not contest this...

Re: Preflop fold

I like a call A LOT better if CO and SB fold. Them calling ahead of you makes this a super-easy fold.

Re: 10/20 situation, call down, raise flop, fold?

[ QUOTE ]
By open limp do you mean when you call with only the blinds involved, or just calling the BB in general? Say UTG limps and you are in button, is it bad to limp a hand like j10 there?

Re: 10/20 situation, call down, raise flop, fold?

I almost never open limp in short-handed games, and I certainly wouldn't do so with this hand.

Post flop, I prefer a flop-raise, check behind on turn, and call on river. You'll save a SB most of...

Interesting analysis. I find myself slowplaying the flop more often than people on here, probably need to adjust that.

Re: Interesting KK hand

Any read on Button here?

I almost always call this down. I think you are best here enough to justify calling the river bet (though it is a crying call). You really only need to be good around 8%...

if your read told you that your opponent never 3bet the turn with just tptk, then i think you could make an excellent argument for folding river unimproved.....right.

Re: Bankroll formulas with hourly rate and standard deviation

1. Think of it as playing a single table with a dealer who deals four times as fast.

Re: KQo with maniac on board

I think the river fold is fine, as there is no way the SB doesn't have a flush.

This is absurd.

Re: AK flop decision - 20/40

This is an easy bet in my opinion. We are never positive here that TP is holding an Ace, and therefore it is way too dangerous to check here in hopes that he bets.

Re: 10/20 Limit HE, 10 seat Hand - could you have gotten away from it?

Fold pre-flop, though you could safely call here with a strong read on Villain (which it doesn't sound like you had).

Flop is good. Turn is good. River is even good I think.

I would have put...

You absolutely HAVE to 3-bet the flop here. No way would I give all these callers a chance to draw out on my likely best hand for free. You need to do everything you can to get this pot heads up. ...

10/20 AA at the Borgata

Table has been juicy earlier, but has just recently tightened up. SB has only been at table for two rotations, during which he raised 2 hands PF, got no callers, and showed KK and AQo respectively....
