Re: Best Online Omaha Hi Lo 1-2 to 5-10 Games?

I am intently watching this post for other opinions, as I am basically curious about what else is out there.

I play mostly PLO8, used to play at Empire, and lately have been playing at Stars. ...

Re: Need help with a hand

I like Jim's analysis, and think that raising the turn once but not capping was the right play.

I disagree with Jim to the extent he suggested folding on the turn or river. It's not PLO8, it's...

O8 site other than party (where u can get rakeback)

I posted this at the bottom of another thread, but would like to start a thread for O8 players that used to receive rakeback but now cannot because of the party switch.

Is this hopeless? As...

Re: New Party Poker (minus the skins)

I'm a PLO8 player that likes rakeback, and haven't followed the Party/Empire split except to notice I can't get a game anymore on Empire.

It sounds like the consensus is that the only place for...

Re: Aces, and raised on the flop

IMO, there is absolutely no reason to call this. If you think he'd never do this with TPTK or an overpair, or a flush draw, you could fold and maybe you should. I'd have to be pretty sure, and with...

Re: Post-Oak Bluff vs. TAG

I guess the money wouldn't be all in (absent a reraise by villain, which I'd likely call), but all the more reason to go ahead and raise back preflop: 1) hope for a fold; 2) hope for a pushable...

Re: Post-Oak Bluff vs. TAG

[ QUOTE ]
I think you want to commit as many chips as possible preflop with AAxx with the money so shallow here. You undoubtedly have the best hand and may win it right here.

He...

Re: Checkraised on a terrible flop

[/ QUOTE ]
Youre not giving him a free card, youre giving yourself a card.

[/ QUOTE ]

I feel I'm really missing something here - don't I only want a free card if he has 3 K's, 9's, or 3's? ...

Re: Checkraised on a terrible flop

There is no way I'm checking behind here, holding AA and 3 to a flush on board. After reading all of worstplayer's reasoning, I still can't see why I'd want to give a free card here under any...

Re: couple hands 100NL party, please critique

Hand 1 - at the point you get minraised, you appear to be in real trouble. You have to figure you're beat unless you catch a Q. If you call that based on implied odds or the heat of the moment,...

Re: An overpair against a LAG

I am new here - but thought it's worth adding that, yes, it is read-dependent, but this guy told us what he knows, and it's not much, but it's all he had to make the decision. And thus all we have. ...

Re: Am I a wuss?

Interesting thoughts from you both.

Hand 1 - I just won't fold to a weak check raise of a continuation bet on that raggedy a flop.

On hand 2 MP did fold, after my raise and the BB all in. So...

Am I a wuss?

I am very new here, I posted this in the high stakes but was told $1/2 and $2/4 belong here - so:

I don't have the benefit of fancy pokertracker hand histories, but made 2 laydowns last night that...

Re: 2 $1/2 NL hands

One mistake - I actually thought hand 2 was KK, not hand 1, hand 1 I am still unsure about.

Addendum - hand 2, MP folded after the raising.

2 $1/2 NL hands

This is my first post but I've been observing for a while.

I don't have the benefit of fancy pokertracker hand histories, but made 2 laydowns last night that have been bugging me and I wanted to...
