Re: QQ against limp-push from small stack

I think this is a pretty easy call. Sure, sometimes he's got AA or KK, but I see this move with trash like A4, K8, and QJ.

JJ is another instacall for me. 77 is questionable.

Re: A rare flop c/r with one pair (Stars 6max)

What's a good hand to check raise with in this situation?

Re: Black aces - TAG leads into me

[ QUOTE ]
Raise and get ready to call his all-in with the flush draw.

[/ QUOTE ]

If he raises all in you're probably in pretty bad shape here (if he's TAG). I don't see him 3 betting OOP...

Re: Black aces - TAG leads into me

I think you've got a few too many players for a 6 max table.

I make it 30 straight and fold to a 3 bet. If he calls, proceed with caution on the turn.

Re: HU turn semibluff

[ QUOTE ]
Sometimes I have the best hand here too, although I agree he's played it pretty strong.

[/ QUOTE ]

What hand do you beat? J10? That's the only hand I can think of that you'd be...

Re: HU turn semibluff

Which is why you're probably not going to get a big ace to fold either.

You've got a really weak draw and he's shown some confidence in his hand.

Re: Northwestern

Smart senior QB running a wide open gimmick offense. They're pretty good. Could be interesting.

Re: Dids-Hop: For your enjoyment

Not a DOOM fan Dids? I'd include some of the new DangerDoom on there.

EDIT: Nevermind, I see some on there. But still, no DangerDoom. What gives?

Re: Bottom Two from SB 1/2 6 Max

That should say pretty strong ten.

I agree. Normally I'd lead and maybe 3-bet the flop if raised. I figured I'd try to get a position bet out of someone. Unfortunately, when I did my c/r back...

Re: Bottom Two from SB 1/2 6 Max

What's a reasonable bet to check/call? There would be about 130 in the pot and I've got about 120 behind if I lead the turn for 40 and he flat calls. That's not even a pot sized bet on the river.

Re: Bottom Two from SB 1/2 6 Max

What is my play on the river if flat called on the turn? There are a lot of cards I wouldn't want to see.

Bottom Two from SB 1/2 6 Max

Posting this hand from memory. Villian is a 2p2'er I think. Effective stacks are about 200.

UTG limps, Villian limps in the hijack, SB completes, I check in the BB with 2...

Re: Flopped Boat - Could Have Been Played Better?

I 3 bet this flop. You've got the underfull which is vulnerable. Also, if he has a ten, another club (or two) might kill your action.

He obviously likes his hand on the flop and you said he's...

Re: Penn State ranked #1

Last year Henne was the next great QB at UM. This year he's a little girl. Go figure. Gutz got a raw deal.

The real question is... what happened to Steve Breaston? He looked like the next to...

Re: Michigan is ranked

Even if Michigan beats PSU, two more UM wins to become bowl eligible aren't guaranteed. Two tough road games and OSU at home. Indiana is the only gimme here. If PSU wins I think Michigan is home...

Re: Anybody feeling Penn State over OSU?

I think 3 TDs is a stretch.

This is OSU's first road game of the year in a pretty tough place to play, especially when this is the first real meaningful game in Happy Valley in 6 years.

OSU...
