Re: Trouble with 10-10

Definitely a little timid with this hand. I can't see checking 10-10 preflop, since you're inviting three other players to stick around and try to hit overcards or some draw on the flop.

And I...

Re: HU good push?

I'd wait.

Your hand still needed help, and clearly he had something -- at least enough to beat ace-high if you didn't improve your hand on the turn or river...

I might have pushed if I was...

Re: TT facing raise

What's the rush? Down to three, this is a great hand, but there are just too many ways this strong starting hand could deteriorate. You could get callers holding overcards. Someone could get lucky...

Re: Chip-lead ITM + Flopped Flush = Bad Play?

On the flop, it looks to me like he had a 1 in 3 shot to hit his flush, and even then, one that could be beat by the King or Ace-high flush.

I think I'd probably have to play this the same way...

Chip-lead ITM + Flopped Flush = Bad Play?

(Apologies -- hand converter seems down right now...)

So I make it ITM on a 10+1 Party SNG with the chip lead. I flop a flush with a possible draw to a straight flush. I push immediately despite...

Re: How\'s this push? (Party $11)

Ugh... Q-10 offsuit? I can't see it. Seems like you'd mostly get callers who would have better hands, either a pocket pair or something better, like A-10, AK, QQ, etc...

Maybe I'm more patient...

Re: A9s in BB facing a raise...

Fold sounds right to me.

Still six players left. Blinds not too high. Plenty chips and time left to take a stand with a better hand. You're hoping to catch a 1 in 15 shot at hitting a flush or...

Re: Did I misplay QQ in final three?

Thanks for all the responses....

Most of you have echoed my thinking (or second-guessing) after the hand. In retrospect, going all-in preflop probably would have been a smarter play.

My...

Did I misplay QQ in final three?

In the money at a $10+1 NL SNG last night. Got Queens in the big blind. I've been trying to heed the advice to be aggressive once you're in the money, rather than try to settle for second... But...

Re: KK post-flop with Ace on the board

Hmmm... I would have raised him on the flop. Test him early. I'd be scared not only of an ace, but of the flush draw.

Giving him not one but two free cards seems like giving him two free...

KK vs QQ flop -- did I play correct or just get lucky?

Last week in a limit game I won a big hand, but in thinking about the hand afterwards, I'm wondering if I mis-played it, despite the big pot I won...

I'm in the small blind looking at K...
