Re: 1700 pot in 1-2 NL deep stack game. any thoughts?

Good move, A7 is a hand I would expect to have folding equity on. Ever thought of running it twice? I would be willing to run that 3-4 times.

Re: Taking one year of collage?

If you think the USD is going to decline in value then that is not an argument for playing poker right now.

Re: Remember when you first saw puppets?

This thread has reached the "disrupting the rest of the library" level. I can't stop laughing.

Re: Is calling a raise with A2s bad?

It's a +EV hand in an unraised pot. In a raised pot it's -EV 90%.

Re: Fold/Push

Just check this one down. With overpairs and overcards, not to mention the small pot, bluffing this is -EV. It is also tough to play since almost cand combo of turn and river cards look dangerous to...

Re: Negreanu poker journal about the 4k/8k game

So its like having 100K max stacks. Which is 50BB. If you can only play with 100K on a given hand the stacks are perpetually 100K.

Re: set of threes

It mostly depends on what type of player. If he has made big calls in the past I would overbet. If he is just a little loose I would bet less, giving the A high missed flush a chance to call.

Re: Worst downswing for a winning player.

There's a big difference between having a long streak with -ROI and not cashing in 40 SNGs. I would like to see the HHs of a strong player who has done this. I am 100% sure you and I would find big...

Re: QQ, big pot in level 1
