Re: Myers-Briggs type for a successful poker player?

I took the test but I'm not seeing where the correlations are with poker.. I'm interested now, is there another thread about this? I am 'ENFP' apparently

Re: Am I a Donkey?

[ QUOTE ]
I would raise pf, if anything to define your hand a little. Flop is good -- without reads my guess is you are ahead. This is where a pf raise would help imo. Turn is okay, but you are...

He has shown several bluffs over how many hands? If he is bluffing >12% of the time here then you should call.

Re: First 10k hands 6-max stats post

Gotta post more than the bare-bones of your stats. But from what you posted, things look alright... you're winning, aren't ya? /images/graemlins/smile.gif Personally I fold to a steal less & I steal...

Re: Am I a Donkey?

You should have some kind of read by now /images/graemlins/smile.gif Anyways

I call preflop, I hate to reraise out of position, and also an UTG raise is likely to have a better hand than any other...

Re: Tricky turn decision, trickier river

Very weird turn bet.. without a read I'd call it and see what his deal is.

Re: Trash in checked field

Definitely don't call. The pot is small and probably not worth the effort, but if you want to continue in the hand, raise to get the pot heads-up; you're dead against a 5 and some Jacks but SB could...

Re: quick question from a 6-max noob. . .

Great post Happydaz

Also, if you're 3betting with UI overs, I'm guessing you are out of position and thus continuing to lead bet on any non-scary turn. This seems like it can be very costly if you...

Re: I HATE these spots

It's a tough spot, but there's too much in the pot on the turn to fold. You just gotta call along on the turn, and hopefully the river is a blank so you can easily fold /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: STAY AWAY from 9 poker....

I signed up at Nine a while ago. I deposited $200. My pending $150 bonus never showed up. I called them and got

Re: pokertracker stats

Hey, I play limit but I do believe your 5% PFR is far too low. Observant players will catch on to the fact that you raise only AA KK QQ, and you won't get action. I'm sure you can raise more hands...

Re: JJ facing an ace

With the Ace on board, almost anything he had 3bet preflop will have you beat. You lose to AK AQ AJ AA KK QQ TT .. and you beat 99 and 77.. which he wouldn't be raising with that ace on board.

Re: River raise, can\'t fold to 3bet.
